The saga of transfer of hosting from NameCheap continues since 2nd Feb. Although I don't need the domain right now, it would be good to build a website and conclude the tutorial and learning.
Here is what Namecheat said to me right now in a live chat:
"As I can see, your domain is successfully pointed to the custom third-party nameservers. In order for it to work kindly make sure that the corresponding records are set up on the side of your hosting provider. Usually, these should be A records connecting it to the IP address of the server where your website is hosted.
A records should be set up in the domain's DNS zone management area. These are records that connect your domain to the IP address. You may try contacting your hosting provider regarding the Ip address that you need to use and how to set up the A records."
Please can anyone interpret these for me or advise me on what else to do?
Much appreciated. - Chuka
