Stan, sometimes after a break away from this, people come up with totally new ideas for a website. You have gained some great, new skills in the last few months. I hope they serve you well.
You know that you will always be welcome here.
Go far and go well
from Janelle.

Hey Stanton,
That is really sad news man. Ya gotta do what ya gotta do, I guess.

Here is what I would do if I ever left WA (not happening any time soon). Back up content. Find a new host.

1. Before you cancel WA, You need to find a new host...try Namecheap, GoDaddy. They will give you new DNS settings for their hosting platform. You can then send your domain name to their server. They will tell you what to do.

2. Do a full site backup now. I use 'WP Clone' plugin for this.
(On your website dashboard go to - plugins - add new - type 'WP Clone by WP Academy' in top right search bar - install - activate.
Make a clone copy of your website using the back up button in WP Clone.)

3. You can then 'transplant' all of your content from your site into the new host. Grab a copy of the backup URL in your WP Clone plugin to transfer.

4. Your new host will also give you guidelines of how to go about transferring your website to them.

It will stay online as long as you move it to another hosting provider. Without a host people won’t be able to reach your website. Before you move it, make sure to create a backup. This backup is what you’ll use to restore your website.
