Hello everyone

Today, I was trying my social media plugin to share a content. However, when I click on the Facebook icon to share my content I go to a new window with an error page marked in red with this message

"Your message couldn't be sent because it includes content that other people on Facebook have reported as abusive."

What is this message? How to solve this problem?

Note that, I have a Facebook page there and I didn't share any content from my website yet. However, it seems Facebook blocked my website!! I am really surprised and angry about this...

I have encountered this before. And the error message is about content having affiliate marketing link/s. Make sure the content you were sharing does not have any affiliate links. If it does, you get this error message.

The best strategy is what is taught here at WA. Send people on social media to your web page. On your web page, use Pretty Links for your affiliate links.

Better still, only have 1 page that has the affiliate link, and direct all hyperlinks to this page. E.g. a review page about another product - you can hyperlink to your WA review page (NOT to WA using your affiliate link). Then on the WA review page, use Pretty Link to point people to your WA landing page.

P.S. Careful about getting this error message. I have heard others having their FB account suspended or cancelled when they do this too often.

This is great advise. I honestly didn't even think about asking him about having affiliate links within his post. That is another reason I recommended manually posting on your timeline with a link to webpage. That is the best way around that problem. Then they will hopefully enjoy what they see, and will shop around a little more making him even more money. Thanks for reminding me about that.

Thank you for your advice. However, I haven't share anything with my page anyway. That's what makes it weird. Also, my content is related to pets.

Hello, I have an off base thought. Have you checked the internet for duplicate content to make sure someone else has not published your site? Not likely this is it but might be worth checking.

Hmm, I am not sure how to do this as a whole. However, I have a premium Grammarly. All my content original and I never encountered any website stealing them. Unless there is a different way to check this out.

the way I do it on occasion is to copy some of a post and put it into google. it will pull up any other post that is like yours. Copy a couple of paragraphs.

Facebook has some pretty strong filters in place so you can try going to your facebook page, and manually posting a link to your content on your timeline for others to click over to your page.

If that doesn't work you can try and do a facebook debugger to try and get past the filter. Do a google search for Facebook Debugger.

If neither of those work you only option is to contact facebook support and discuss it with them.

I hope this helps.

Thank you Kevin.

The only problem is, Facebook support system sucks. I tried to report a problem and that's all I can do. However, they never answer any messages or reports. I am not sure how to contact them otherwise.

Yeah unfortunately they do suck with support. Did you try the debugger? I have used it in the past, and it worked. It is a crap shoot. If not I would just link the post on your timeline. Sorry your having trouble.
Make sure you go on to Pinterest. I have gone there to post my blog content, and slowly I am starting to get people to ready my post. I get more traffic from Pinterest than I do from Facebook

Best of luck

Thanks again. Yes, I tried the debugger. It gives me the message that my website is blocked. It is so annoying since I didn't even post anything on the Facebook page. I already have a Pinterest account for my website.

Pinterest also can be as bad as Facebook in that. They have so many bugs and problems within their platform. The same account I have there for my blog got blocked accidentally months ago and they contacted me after a month saying sorry for the mistake and gave me the account back empty. They basically deleted all my work there. Now, I started brand new on my account there again. However, it is growing steadily already reached 250k+ monthly views with more than 200 visits daily from Pinterest within a month of work.

Wow that is crazy. Social Media is tough. Can give you a migraine headache.
What is the nature of your content? Sometime just the content itself can be the culprit.

Well, it is basically everything about a pet's health and life. Mainly Dogs and Cats. My target audience those who have a cat and dog in their house.

Well then it can't be the content. If it was about knives, guns, or politics I could see it getting blocked. Dogs and Cats are pretty non-threatening material. I think it is Facebook. Sorry if i come across any other info that might help I will let you know.

Thank you very much! It is just Social media platforms getting difficult to be dealt with day after day. I believe we are going to a time where every business owner small or big needs expert help to manage their social media accounts. All in all, if they don't help me I will just stick with my Pinterest and manage some indirect ways to attract visitors such as linktree. Or, I just build a new website.
