I change my site with SSL certificates, from http to https. I'm creating a new property https in Google Console, am I uploading the same sitemap? Or should I find a way to generate a new one before upload to google console; since the sitemap is still in http.

Assuming that you're using WA for the SSL Certificate, all you need to do is add a new property with the https in the url. If you changed the SiteMap.xml name you might want to make sure Search Console has it.

Here is the affiliate link to Jay's webinar that he did on changing over to https i the Google Webmaster Tools. Mike

yes but he's using Yost, and I didn't see him changing the sitemap. I guess I don't need to change the site map after switching to https?

Simply type your domain URL in the browser and look at your sitemap to see if the bot is crawling:

https: // yourdomain URL / sitemap.xml

If you see your recent posts included in the sitemap, it's all good.

If your GA stats are not tracking your https site content, make sure that your Google Analytics account has this set up correctly.

1. Go to Google Analytics > Administration > Property

2. Make sure the default URL is selected as 'https'

3. Go to the All in One SEO plugin > Google Settings > and insert the Tracking ID that is associated with your https URL.

4. Tick the Universal Analytics box in the AIO plugin.

Remember to save the changes.

See screenshot attached from my GA account.

Thanks a lot Jude. I have one more question. In Bing, I just need to submit a new sitemap right? Cuz it seems like Bing doesn't let me create a new https property

Yes, submit a new sitemap with https.

Right! That's what I understand - we don't have to. Kyle & Carson took care of the vast majority of that!
