Hi there, I have started a second website and would like to add Amazon affiliate links. I already have an Amazon Id for my first website. So, can I use this Id for my second site or do I need to register with my second website for an Amazon affiliate link?
Thanks in advance - Anke

You can create a new Tracking ID for each website you like for example : newwebsite-20 or your keyword-20 that way you know which links are being clicked on which website

Hi Anke, you use 1 amazon account but you can have many affiliate tags (unique_tag-20) to distinguish where the traffic is coming from. You can a tag for each site or you can have multiple tags within 1 site just to test things if you wish. But you should add your new website to the list of your websites in your associates account so amazon knows the website is actually yours.

the tracking ID is the tag I was talking about. You can create a new Tracking ID and call it whatever you like for example : newwebsite-20 . To add a new website to Amazon go to 'account settings' and then click on 'edit your website list' and add your url of your new website in there.
