1. Images I have inserted in WA when published don't show up in WP.
2. Confused on publishing from Site Content to a specific domain/website
3. How do I add drop shadows to images, I was told before, but can't find the thread or review the info.

Hi Terry, when it comes to images I do them in Adobe and then insert them through WordPress, not site content. I think you can also use Canva.

Best wishes,

Michael

Thanks for the heads-up. How and why do you use Adobe?

Hi Terry, I used to do a lot of photographic work before I joined WA. My gosh, it is an amazing tool. I always work on my images before posting them on my site. Adjust color, clarity, and size. It is the best graphic program of all time.

Question. Do you keep the images with the written content? Basically how do u organize your content database?

Hi Terry, yes I keep the images within the written content making sure there is an image relating to my article close to the heading. This way when I go to share it on social media the image comes up along with the post.
The rest of the images are placed relative to the content.

I understand you organize the images with the written content. I have set up each article/post in a folder with the related images.
I was looking a Photoshop and it's a bit premature for me right now. My plate is pretty full trying to get my website up and running, but I definitely see the advantages of using Photoshop to enhance the quality of the post. Really appreciate your support.

I’m a little old school, so I never really use Site Content myself. (When I started WA there was no Site Content feature so I’ve always been used to working directly working WP). But I vaguely remember reading that once your article is published, all future edits have to be done from WP. Don’t quote me on that, just something to check on.

I’m sure there’s some training on Site Content within WA to help you out. I’d search “Site Content Tutorial” or something to that effect in the smart search and see what pops up.
