What a Difference Changing Things Up (And Planning) Can Make!

Ok, what I'm about to share with you may not seem earth-shattering to you.

But to me, it opened up a whole new world of possibilities.

Last night, I posted late at night, after an exhausting, long day, that I was too tired to write an article for my website, as I had been planning to.

So what I had done was just researched a keyword, with the intention of writing the article the following day.

Fast-Forward To This Morning...

This morning, I decided to do something completely out-of-the-box:

Rather than waiting until the evening, after I am done with work, to write my article, I decided that writing my article would be the first thing that I do today, before starting my work.

And I am happy to report: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

I spent 47 minutes writing a 1900-word article, optimized for my keyword. I have published it, and it is now on my website!

That is a HUGE relief, knowing that I have accomplished that. Plus, I must honestly admit, that my ability to think creatively and fluidly was much more supercharged this morning, as compared to trying to sit down and start writing, "last thing at night" after everyone else has gone to bed.

What a difference a fresh mind, after getting a good night's sleep, can make! :)

Is That ALL??

Ok, so this begs the question: If I am committing to spending 2 hours per day on affiliate marketing, what am I planning to do for 1.25 minutes I have remaining?

Well, I spent about 20 minutes going through the next WA training video (thank God for the ability to watch it at 2x speed! I only had to rewind and slow it down for the parts that I got distracted for and needed to re-listen carefully to..).

The video calls upon you to research and sign up for affiliate programs in your niche.

So I did that. I Googled my keyword + affiliate program.

Exactly as Kyle said in his video, there were pages upon pages of search results.

So what did I do? I did what any other excited affiliate marketer would do:

I bookmarked practically every (legit) affiliate program on the first two pages of the search results (for a total of 11)...

I hope to, by the end of the day today, sign up for as many of them as practical.

... and then move on to the next lesson (which I believe will be to go back into my website and start inserting the affiliate links all over the place).

This is about to get REAL.

Once affiliate links are added to my website, it will be monetized and ready to start making money! Up until now, I had written a total of 10+ articles, and implemented the basics, but it hadn't been monetized yet.

(I have StatCounter enabled, and I am currently receiving very little traffic, but that's OK... Hopefully things will start to get supercharged in the upcoming lessons...)
