Using a Bridge Page
Ok, so after much deliberation, I've decided to go with a bridge page after all.
On each of the blog posts on my website, rather than linking to my affiliate landing page at Amazon, I have created a separate page on my website, where I am briefly introducing the affiliate products that I am promoting, and I am including the links there on that page.
This actually works out quite well.... As the clicks to the affiliate links will be more targeted this way.. You would only click on the affiliate links if you were serious about buying the product.
It also allows me to promote more than one affiliate product on the same page.
It also allows me to put the Affiliate Disclaimer on just that one page, rather than on every single one of my blog posts (since none of them directly include affiliate links on them).
On my bridge page, I'm including links to a few select items on Amazon....
But then I am also thinking to include a link to the "category / product search result page", so that the buyer can also look at other items. (By doing this, I can ensure that the visitor will have a chance to look at other items, in case they don't like the specific item that I had promoted.)
I have also created a sidebar widge that links to my bridge page as well.
(I am also thinking to put an email subscription form on this page, but that won't come until a later lesson!)
I have 9 blog posts on my website, totalling about 16K to 17K words...
So I am planning to spend to add the links to my bridge page on all 9 of them by Friday...
My plan is as follows:
- Every one of the images on my page (I have several images per blog post) will link to the bridge page.
- I will have links to the bridge page interspersed throughout each article.
- I will also build a few INTERNAL LINKS per each blog post... I will try to link to at least 2 to 4 other of my blog posts FROM each blog posts... This is supposedly good for keeping the reader on your website, and thus improving SEO, because this increases the time spent on the website.
If I can accomplish this by Friday, then I will be all set...

I am late to this 2018 party... LOL.
Your plan appears solid in having one bridge page (post), which contains all the affiliate links, thus supporting the other blog posts.
Thank You for validating my conclusions in 2021 - May.
