Getting Back On Track.

Sheesh... My last blog post was on January 7th.... Today is February 18th.... So much for my New Years Resolution to post one blog post per day, and finish up with the Online Entrepreneur certification.

Last I left off, I was on a step in the training that was to create a product review. I kind of zoned out after that, moaning and groaning and whining to myself that that was "too hard".... (The product I am reviewing is something that I own, but I guess I have this mental block when it comes to writing product reviews as being something shady, dishonest, and not exactly a form of creative writing the way that writing a free form article is....)

But anyway, I finally got my head out of the sand and finished the product review, clocking in at 720+ words.

And I'm ready to move on to the next lesson.

I was not going to allow myself to become "just another statistic". I have read enough blog posts of others here at WA to know that success is very real and very achievable. Some of you have achieved that already. Others of you are well on your way there.

I guess something else that motivated me was that I saw in my StatCounter plugin that 3 people actually visited my website using Google organic search results today. Wow. I wasn't expecting that!

One person actually clicked through from one article of mine to another...

So people are actually reading my content!! Wow.

Ok small victory. But I am floored.

I intend to get back on track and post my progress regularly.

It is only a matter of time before I will share my success story with all of you!

Hi, Hyder, I am not a friend of product reviews either, it takes me forever to get it done do you know if you can be successful without doing product reviews?

I'm sure that we can be successful without doing actual product reviews. But I guess the point of doing them is that they are geared toward people who are in the later stages of the whole purchasing decision making life cycle. They know they need / want to buy the product, but just need to be given a little push to help seal the deal for them.
