What percentage is $19 of Premium

I am in the process of doing a customized referral message and looking at Kyle's example, he says first payment is 59% discount.

I admit math isn't my strong suit but if the regular payment is $49 and we get our first payment at $19, isn't that roughly 38.78% discount?

Or is my math way off?

The way you calculate it is take $49 x 59%(the rounded discount) = $28.91. then take $49 and substracte the discount of 28.91 = $20.09.

So the actual discount is more than 59% since the price is $19.

The actual discount is more like 61%

Not sure how you came to that figure. even a 50% discount would be half, which is $24.50. Kyles figures are definitely correct. Jim
