A Feel Good Moment

I have been struggling with my niche - not that it isn't interesting and isn't a hot topic - it is both!! It is controversial and will be in the news a long time. So you may say, why do you have difficulty with it? It is the writing and not feeling 'knowledgeable' enough about it. I do lots of research and this is time consuming because you have to have your facts right. I have hired someone to help me out a bit so hoping this will help.

Here's the interesting part. I also started another niche and because it is very personal, my first article was written in about an hour. This is a very well known niche and has had a lot written about it. But I wrote about my own personal experiences and ended up with almost 1600 words, a first for me. Plus I was able to casually drop in an affiliate link with a call to action (thank you @botipton) that pertains to my niche. Win/Win.

I won't give up on the first niche, mostly because I am not a quitter (maybe stubborn is more like it) and because I know it has a lot of potential.

But I am excited about the second niche and can only hope I can continue to draw from my own expereinces. I was excited about the fact that I churned out a post in an hour instead of days. This was my feel good moment!!

Have you found out this to be your situation as well? Would love to know!

Happy for you. Enjoy writing.

Thank you :)

There is no shame in giving up on a niche if you just don't feel attached to it. After all you are best served by working with something you feel passionate about. It will improve your writing and the speed at which you can create content. Best wishes.

Thank you :).

I won't say the same about a particular niche...but i do experience being able to crack out some articles really fast whilst others take forever. Not sure why...doesn't matter how much research I do either.

I find that as well but mostly more difficult. Thanks for responding!
