Obstacles? How do you overcome?

What obstacles have you overcome lately? How do you overcome them? Each of us learn to persevere depending on our acquired life lessons. These lessons are learned the hard way by trial and error, or by examples given to us through others in the past or present. We have so many through our community at WA that have already been through many more obstacles than we have and can share with us how they overcome them.

Be willing to listen and read through the training and reading others posts which will give us the information we need to avoid some obstacles or work though them.

One of my favorite quotes that I like is:

"You measure the size of the accomplishment by the obstacles you had to overcome to reach your goals" Booker T. Washington

What obstacles are you working through, and what motivates you to do so?

My biggest obstacle is writing content. I love words and I am passionate about my niche, but nevertheless, I have still problems writing a post. It feels like a barrier I have to break through. I know, a lot of practise will make it easier. Anyhow I'm searching for the release of an anxiety, and for a solution on how to write more relaxed.
:-)

Oh my!!! I don't think we ever STOP overcoming, do we. I have a problem with "not being good enough". Somewhere I understand that is incorrect, but I've had a life-long problem with it. My older sister could do this, that or the other, but I never could to my mother's satisfaction. Go from there to bulllying in school. There further along the line, being my own worst enemy, telling myself, "I'm not good enough". however, with many markers saying I was "good enough" but my not believing it. Then losing a husband to cancer, a daughter to cancer, and having a child with addiction problems. I won't go further, but you get the idea.
Sorry, I didn't mean to be a downer. Please forgive.

Hi EstherP1. It hurts me to hear all that you have had to endure. We all have trauma and hardships we must work through in life. It certainly isn't easy, but we have to do our best to stay positive and just keep moving forward.

I wish you the best and much success here at WA.

Michael

Crack those problems, William. Inch by inch!

You are correct. Little by little we get further towards our goals. I appreciate the encouragement.
Take care,
Bill

Nice post!
My obstacle right now is getting personal media on my website. I will be adding videos and images or personal soccer training sessions and I'm struggling to get the time to do so.
I will work hard to make it come true and enjoy a new reality with my family!

Thanks for the compliment! The videos and photos seem like a good idea. I am sure you will find the time. The motivation you have will help you find the time. Best wishes upon reaching your goals. Love to see the site when you have the videos and other personal media are loaded.
take care,
Bill

My obstacle is keeping focused on working on my website. My daughter (also WA member) motivates me by her drive, she never misses a day of writing, posting, advertising etc. She is an affiliate machine.
Mary

Mary,
Working on the website for a non creative type like myself is a challenge in itself. I am working outside of my box and it will come if I stay the course.
Thanks for the comment.
Bill

Great post , great quote , we thank you much .
My obstacle ( Elaine ) is time management .
I do better when I have a written routine , ongoing process for me !

Thanks Elaine. Mine used to be time management, and I have to have a structure, and a daily game plan. By doing this I stay on track. The older I have become, I write notes and consolidate or throw away as I tick the tasks off. Everyone has their own way, but in managing a call center team or teams it was always very important to stay on top of it or you became buried.
Wishing you continued success.
Bill

Thank you for your words of wisdom....it's appreciated

Thanks so much for sharing. My obstacle has been content!

I struggle with this so much. I desire to add a new post each day, but so far it has been maybe two posts per week or three if I am fortunate.

Lately, I have been starting a post in the morning and working on it throughout the day (if I have time) and trying to finish up in the evening.

Hopefully, I can create some momentum:)

Thanks again for sharing, and best of luck to you.

~Gina

Gina,
I know it's important to do some posts, yet I have been putting my effort into content for my first site, and research for my second along with training. The posts I have been doing are those going into my websites. Those I see who have been successful not seeking ranking only are those who did it that way. Just my observation and reading.
I am sure you will do very well. Message me anytime if you have any questions I can assist with.
Take care,
Bill

Thanks, Bill.

I agree, our primary focus should be on developing our websites. I don't have much time to blog within WA, because I am so busy with my full-time job and writing content for my website.

Maybe one day I will break the Top 200, but I know it won't be anytime soon.

Thanks for the great advice and best of luck to you!

Love the quote!
We face the obstacles of just learning the technical side here at WA. Luckily, there are two of us working together so we help each other. Trial and error, as you say. Every time we make a mistake we learn something new.
We are motivated by the desire to help those in our target niche and thus create credibility and trust so that we can generate an online income living down here.
We are loving life!
Thanks for your post and insights.
Best of luck to you!
Colette and Philip

Thanks for the comment. Yes, the technical side is different for each of us. Although I have a spouse she is very busy fulltime to become involved right now, so it's great you both can work together to achieve the goals you wish to achieve. Loving life is very key to success in most everything.
Take care,
Bill

I’m constantly faced with obstacles. I often get very overwhelmed, but I have to step back, and take one thing at a time. Just do your best. Ask for help when you need it. Find balance in life. Good luck!

Freya thanks for your kind comments. I looked at your first review, and I was impressed. Keep up the great reviews!
