Yeah, I have looked into some of these energy providers at one time or another. I have a problem with the MLM model. They're using it to try and develop a salesforce for a product that should be mainstream if it's any good. By using the MLM model to find salespeople it takes on a questionable aspect.
Hi Labman, The renewable energy mandates give the utility companies two options: 1 is to build wind fields, solar fields, Hydro generation, etc. and buy Green credits but they pass on the costs to their customers. 2 is to allow third parties to administrate the "Green" program by choosing that companies plan to provide the Renewable energy which in turn saves the utility and customer the most.
So I guess the answer is that this is "mainstream" and a new model for MLM as it is highly regulated in this case. I cover a lot of information in my post. Thanks William :)
