Hey, Warren hope you are well.

I just got through doing just that. But I see you already have it worked out.

So I hope it helps, but I am leary in my case because I haven't had that much traffic yet.

Who knows got to try anything that might help.

Have a great evening, Chet.

Hi - do be aware this code does not put ads on your website.

It simply allows them to inspect your site to see if it is suitable.

They will send an email to let you know if you have been approved.

Got it figured out. Abie helped. Thanks Diane.

I let Site Support do mine. I don't know my way around those areas, so I was afraid to mess with it myself.

Hi Warren,
If you have access to the theme editor, you can place the code there as well
<head> code </head>
section and be sure to save that file.
Also, Frank's suggestion is excellent.

Choose what is safer and easier for you. Happy work.

Greetings,
Slavka 👋

Hi, Warren

Grab the AdSense HTML and paste it in the header section of your site by using a WordPress plugin like Code Snippets or Ad Inserter.

You’ll find the HTML code in your AdSense account.

Easy Peasy! 😎

Frank 🎸

Used Ad Inserter. Thanks, Frank.

Will this work with WordPress and is it better than spell check in WP?

I use Grammarly premium version, however sometimes when I plain paste in a Google Word, it is still finds mistakes, which makes me wonder?

How you plan to spell check in WP?

Always paste plain so you do not carry on any codes, i.e. Ctrl + Shift + V

Hey, Abie,

I also use Grammarly Pro, but sometimes the improvement turns out to be a bit weird. First, you improve something (on their advice), and then you have to put it back to the original... Especially there is also stumbling about names and the like... But: if you pay a little attention, you take that in. Because above all: it's a good program!

Best regards,

I’m not sure if one is better than the other, but Iñif you use Microfosft editor I would paste the content into a plain notepad document and then copy and paste it into the WordPress editor.

Microsoft word was notorious for adding formatting characters if you copied and pasted content directly from Word to a website. I don’t know if Microsoft Editor suffers the same problem or not, but using notepad as an intermediary will ensure those characters don’t make it into your website.

Trying to find how to locate my trust level on my website.

Hi there WBlasure, your site health will change for a variety of reasons. This could be anything from plugin's needing to be updated, to not enough quality content or even the big G changing things again... and again... and again... Just sayin'.

So, the quality content is really important to keep your eyes on.

Most things that cause your site health to drop will be easily fixable and you'll be right back to a healthy site again.

I used to stress out over this and over many years of changes outside of my control have learned that it's going to fluctuate almost no matter what you do.

Don't stress over it, but do keep it in your mind.

Enjoy the journey and the rewards from it.

RitaAnn~

Back on top Rita. Thanks for responding.

Looks like your well covered here with some great guidance.

-Mike

Just as Frank says, Warren! No muss, no fuss!

I love the No muss, no fuss - lol Awesomeness.🙏

I'm glad you liked it, Abie! 🙏

Hi, Warren

The WA "trust" factor increases by 10% each month, so I wouldn't treat it as a critical metric.

Frank 🎸

Thanks

👍😎🎸

Cool Dude.😏

Lol!

Phil got you covered. Remember, you don't have to have everything at 100 percent for Site Health. It just takes time to build up so please don't fret over it. Just keep building content.

Frank and Abie have you covered well here.

Hi Warren,

I also have a 401-error: the page

https://topfishinggadgets.com/siteprotect-verify

I will follow this...

This was in response to Google Telling me I had this issue and the site was not indexed because of this. They also said I have many blogs not indexed because there is an extension on my HTML - /feed/ where and how do I remove this, please?

You do not have to worry about the /feed/ as far as indexing.

Hi, Warren

/feed is for an RSS feed. It automates info from your blog.

I suggest you screenshot the errors in GSC and put in a ticket with Site Support.

Need to change a medical term to get it right

You may hover over a post or page and click edit. Don't forget to save changes.

Site manager>log in>posts>make your edits>update (top right)

Thanks. That works for WA but I need for WordPress.

That’s what I was referencing. You can’t edit posts in WA, or sitecontent after they’ve been published. It has to be through Wordpress and that’s all you do. Go to posts, make your changes, then update.

Just go to your post editor from your WP back office. Make the changes and update :)

How do I get to WP back office. Used to be an icon to click. Gone.

Just login to your website via the website tab up top.
Websites>Site Manager

Doesn't get me to blog posts on my profile page.

Profile page? I'm not talking about your profile page at all here.

To get to your WordPress dashboard from WA just click on the Websites tab up top. From the drop down that opens up click on Site Manager. When you click there you'll be taken to a list of your websites.

Choose the one you'd like to log into and click the blue log in button.

Now you're in your WordPress back office and you can click on Posts to get to your post editor.

When I click on the pencil in the header, it opens to "quick actions", under that is a "blog WA" icon. When I go there, any post I write is saved separately from my website. I want to correct a word in my last blog created here. It doesn't show anywhere else and I don't find how to edit it after it is published.

In your title you asked about editing posts published in Wordpress. That's completely different from your WA blog.

They are two completely separate entities not related to each other at all.

Wordpress relates to your website. WA blog posts are published here and are for the WA community to see.

If you're asking about how to edit a WA blog post, go to your profile, click on blog, click on the one you want to edit, then click the gear icon by the title and click edit.

Thanks, Eric, sorry I didn't explain it right the first time, but I appreciate you continuing until we got it right. You are good people.

Happy to help.
That'll be $49.99.

:)

Got it fixed. Thank you again.
