Why you should invest in yourself. Even if you don't think you can be successful.

So I was watching a video by Grant Cardone today. I don't really like Grant but this video particularly touched me and I think it's important to follow successful people from all walks of life, even if you don't agree with them.

In his video he said that in his twenties he stopped doing what everyone else did. Meaning he didn't go out and party or drink. He watched his friends do it and felt isolated at times but he stuck to his vision and ultimately he has the ability to party harder now than his friends can even imagine.

That got me thinking about why I want to be successful. I used to get smoke weed and drink all the time and it never really got me anywhere. I'm not denouncing those things but I needed to look at where I could free up time to work on my blog. It's not that I feel like I'm sacrificing really, those things just started falling off as I spent more time investing in myself.

When I first started my blog I didn't really believe I could do it. I just stuck with it because Kyle's videos said I could do it. I've been at this a couple of weeks now so it's not like I am a veteran webmaster or anything but now I am seeing clicks through to my website here and there and I am getting great feedback on my content and I'm starting to believe in myself instead of just going through the motions.

So why should you invest in yourself? You have a unique opportunity here at WA. Think about what you would do if you weren't tethered to a job. What would you do with an extra 8 hours a day? I spend on average maybe an hour or two on my blog in the morning and when my work starts to pay off I want to travel the world. It sounds like a lofty goal but when money is flowing in regardless of what I'm doing at the time it will be completely possible. That's what I think about if I ever doubt myself.

So if you're new to WA or perhaps you've been at it for a few months and have yet to see substantial results remember, believe in what Kyle says in his videos and when you start seeing traction, believe in yourself. Having money that doesn't require you to be in a specific place is truly liberating.

Yes being your own boss is very liberating. Love the idea.

Being here in the first place is a great reason for self belief!
