This Christmas is a BONUS

Well, it's that time of year again. They come and they go so fast. Today is Christmas Eve, (for some of you it's already Christmas Day), and in a week we will be celebrating the eve of a New Year. Where does the time go.
I haven't posted here for several months mostly because I haven't had much, if anything, to say. But, this year has been different than all the rest for at least two reasons.
First, I have been part of WA and this awesome community for a little more than a year. During that time I have had struggles and victories while trying to learn how to do this IM stuff. Mostly, I have been struggling with myself, my inner-self, and I know that this is a common experience for a lot of others in the WA community. This happens, for the most part, because I/we haven't made the "HEAD TO HEART" connection. I/we like the niche we have chosen but, for what ever reason, the "Passion" that some talk about seems to have gone missing.
That said, I also know that "IF" I am going to be successful it will be up to me. I think I have a pretty good website going but I also realize that my consistency in posting content had been lacking in the last couple of months and, because of that, my site health has fallen back into the RED. But, I'm NOT giving up. I signed up for another year and, come heck (no foul language in the WA community) or high water and the Lord willing ( and H should give me another year), I am going to turn this around and be profitable by the time that year is over.
So, that's the first reason. The second reason is the health issue I had in May of this year. I think this issue has left me somewhere in no-mans land. The recovery period for this kind of thing is long...up to a year for the physical part.
The mental part is taking longer mostly because I wasn't ready for what happened, (check out "Lives little Setbacks"). One thing for sure, a heart issue certainly puts a different perspective on the word "Tomorrow", and how fragile we humans really are.
I have a date with my cardiologist on the 10th of January. Hopefully he will give me the go-ahead to be more physical so I can do something more to get in better shape.
Thanks God, and His Goodness, that I have an amazing wife who has stood by me all these 7 months gently nudging me in the right direction and loving me in spite of myself. The "LOVE" part is great for the thought process. LOVE is such a positive influence one can't help to start feeling better about one's self so even that part of my recovery has come a fair distance.
Anyway, enough about me. The reason for this post is to wish ALL MY FOLLOWERS from all over the world including Kyle and Carson and their families, THE very best Christmas and an even better New Year and to remember that every breath, every heartbeat, every second we are on this side of the green grass, is a bonus and should never be taken for granted. Hug the loved ones you have around you and tell them you love them because, tomorrow is not guaranteed.

Took a couple of days off but, you're absolutely right, this is perhaps the prettiest Province in the country (no bias). There is no place that God hasn't put His fingerprint and it's even more beautiful now with the snow on the mountains here in Southwestern B. C.

Hi my friend and it will get better BUT you must help yourself and to do that EAT healthy!!!!
Green and more greens and fruit and more fruit - for get the dairy and the sugar stuff DO thus and you will be amazed how your body will get itself to gather again!!!
Took a couple of days off but, thanks for the advice. We actually do eat pretty healthy around here. We eat lots of veggies and fruit and drink non-dairy milk but, you know what they say, There is always room for improvement.

Thanks for your response, Sheilagh. I truly do have a lot to be thankful for. The health part is getting better, be it all toooooo slow. They did say it could take up to a year so, I must be patient.
