If you want to drive traffic to your blog and get #1 rank in Google follow these instructions and achieve success very quickly!

How to create your content

Every time, well almost every time, I write a blog or post anything here on Wealthy Affiliate I get a concept of what I want to write about then I write out a rough draft complete with title, headlines and content.

Then I start doing some research on the title to see how well it will rank using Jaaxy.

Why you should take a few minutes in Jaaxy?

Because any blog you create here on Wealthy Affiliate is going to get indexed on Google very quickly.

I've see it happen in anywhere from 15 minutes to a half hour, that's just crazy fast!

Several of my blog posts that's I've done the research I've got #1 ranking or very good ranking only to be beaten out by my Youtube or Google Plus posting ranking of the same title.

Here's an example of such a post

Will Smith Shares His Wisdom On Life

Monthly Searches: <10

Estimated Traffic: <10

QSR: 48

KQI is Great

SEO Power: 84

Site Ranking Found in Position: 6 Page: 1

But, look at the 2nd place ranking it's my Youtube video of the same title

This blog you're reading right now was going to be titled "how to get traffic to your blog" then I did research on it and found this

how to get traffic to your blog

Monthly Searches: 2952

Estimated Traffic: 502

QSR: 275

KQI is OK

SEO Power: 74

So I looked at the Jaaxy results and found this

drive traffic your blog

Monthly Searches: 344

Estimated Traffic: 59

QSR: 57

KQI is Great

SEO Power: 98

Then I checked

how to drive traffic your blog

Monthly Searches: 707

Estimated Traffic: 121

QSR: 5

KQI is Great

SEO Power: 92

Which one do you think I'm gonna use?

WA Tip: When you post your blog you can come back and change the title but the original title name is your url. So in this case I'm leaving out the "To" in "Traffic To Your Blog" because the Jaaxy numbers are better for without the "To" and then after I publish it I'll come back and change the title and put the "To" in for readability. Don't know if this really does anything to help search, but I figured I'd try it out.

Search this title on Google when you read this blog and see how it ranks.

Here's some other examples

One of my blog posts titles - Think Bigger!

I didn't do the research and this is the result

It's not even in the top 20 pages of SERP (Search Engine Results Pages)

Horrible Jaaxy Numbers

think bigger!

Monthly Searches: 153

Esimated Traffic: 27

QSR: 623,000

KQI is poor

SEO Power: 11

Here's a blog I published on January 17, 2014.

The title has great KQI and SEO power of 84 and has #1 rank

how much is your contact manager worth

Monthly Searches: <10

Esimated Traffic: <10

QSR: 12

KQI is great

SEO Power: 84

Site Ranking Found in Position: 1 Page: 1 above SalesForce

Maybe you think, well that' because this blog has been online for a month now?

No, in fact it was in 2nd place ranking within a half hour of me posting it.

Here's a blog post I did abou it after i realized that.

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/wa-affiliate-program/holy-freaking-cow

Here's a blog post I did just 2 days ago

how to get exactly what you want by helping others first

Monthly Searches: <10

Esimated Traffic: <10

QSR: 3

KQI is great

SEO Power: 84

Site Ranking Found in Position: 1 Page: 1

BTW, The lady right under me Erin I photographed, she's one of my clients here in Vegas, how funny is that. ;-)

The Moral Of This Story Is

  1. Pick your title very carefully, use Jaaxy to research it
  2. Write content for people here on WA
  3. More importantly write content as if the whole world is going to read it

wait I don't understand you're using keywords with estimated traffic less than 100? I thought it was supposed to be over. what is the point of using a keyword if there are less than 10 searches on it?

Google still checks to see if you are writing content relevant to your URL. So if you deviate from that, the ranking won't be as good as if you stuck with the niche market you chose.

Question, I have another Wordpress blog that I started for my Avon business, but I've written posts on there that I would like to transfer over to my WA site, do you think that's a wise idea? What about if I changed the title to drive more traffic to the post?

Reword the article so you don't get flagged duplicate content and by all means a different title its a great idea!

Hi Mistie-I would not move them over as they are like Rosie said, reword them and change the titles. However it may be better to just write new content and link those articles to your new content. Hope this helps

Hi Bee

Scroll back up to the title. Do you see the white star under the H in the title? Click that and it will turn yellow.

Great stuff Wayne.....it does make sense and not read the numbers too much as long as the content and the keywords make sense.
How do I bookmark this article?
Reply
apache1 Premium
Hi Bee if you got to the top you will see a star click on that star it will turn yellow all you need to do then is create a tag for it. By creating a tag this becomes part of your favorites. Now if you what to get back to it again further at the top next to the plane is another star click on that and all you favorites will be show with the tag you created.
The link for this is below which was created by Carson

Hi Wayne, Thank you for the information. My Keywords are under 100 and lower but I still don't get lots of traffic. I need to understand one more thing in this example: how can you write a blog with a title like this: based business home home internet marketing online work.
It does make no sense. And changing it after publishing means you will need to change the permalink too.
Reply
Wayne Wallace Premium
Thanks, you need to use keywords that make sense to the reader as well. For the page name it's not as important that it makes sense but for your title you would want it to be readable

So if I am to understand correctly... We should have our have blog titles that have less searches (<10) to get traffic? This slightly confused me...

Wayne, let me pose a question to you. Does the Google Authorship listing give a "priority" to content with keywords?

The <10 means there is not enough data to give an exact number to the category. Always check your QSR,KQI and SEO Power numbers.

Wayne, when I have occasionally done kw research, I have always avoided the <10 monthly and traffic searches believing them to be negative. What do they mean?
Reply

Kyle said in a video somewhere just cause it says <10 don't worry about that you can still use it. I think it was the low hanging fruit video.
