Washo. I am so glad you posted about this incident. I had a Niche and was very reluctant to use it due to it being related to medical. So what are your plans to fix this?

Yes, it is nice that Washo shared about what happened to him.
Based on what he shared, maybe you can do some more research and then write about your medical related niche.
In regards to your question to Washo, he mentioned that he already did something, see below for the information he has in his blog. He also asked for recommendation on other steps that he could take.
"Anyway, this is what i already did for getting rid of the penalty:"
- Change About us and make it more relevant
- Change my profile
- Use Author box plugin

I struggle with this too. Google updates are usually the reason. The best thing you can do is to keep doing what you're doing, lol. Keep publishing content on a regular basis, and make sure your on-page SEO is done correctly.
If your average position is going up, that's awesome. You're doing something right!!

Add it as a page to your top navigation menu. It needs to be clearly visible, before a potential customer actually sees your affiliate links.
