Les Waller's Weekly Update #8

I keep missing my end of week update, lol.
Its 'cause I'm busy.
Friday night I was doing a 2-hour scary game live stream and Saturday night was a halloween meeting online.
I've posted an additional 6x articles on my Bootcamp site since last week. I discovered I could put out a 1000 word article in about 4 hours at about the same or better quality than what I was paying someone $20 to write and taking them 2 days. And then I would still take an hour or two to transpose and edit what they wrote to the content editor.
I continue drinking my celery and carrot juice daily for lunch.
It's not as bad as it looks, I promise.
I tried Kale and Kiwi juice, oh it looks so nummy!
Hahahaha! (Laughing at how that juice looks)
I had 2x applications returned saying this or that, one I've responding to and the other goes in the bit bucket.
I then contacted someone who works at one of the companies I'm trying to get hired at and they sent an email to the hiring manager to look at my resume. I figure worse case scenario I'll find out sooner rather than later that they don't want me and then I can focus on other places to get hired.
Got a lot more questions answered about seperation benefits, or lack of them from the boss on Friday. Good to know for planning purposes.
Contracting companies love to pull the "you work overseas" card so they don't have to give you the same benefits that people in the US get. I call bull poopoo!
I realized while taking a shower this morning (anyone else have epiphanies while showering) that it would be better to take the money instead of the time when it comes to unused paid vacation. Check this out, if I can write one 3000 word post per day for 10 working days I'd produce 10x 3000 word posts. If I work those 10 days and hire a writer to write 30x 3000 word posts it would cost me $1350, under what I'd get paid for those 10 days AND I could still be writing my own posts in the evening, as well.
Guess I won't be taking that vacation, after all.
Oh, my workouts! I passed my standard for my level 5C workout and on Monday will start the 5B workout. Can we say, we can do pushups now?
On 29 September I couldn't do a normal pushup, now we are up to 5, woohoo!
Germany starts a more tightened lockdown due to the beer virus on Monday (tomorrow).
I'm good, I've got a month's supply of beer! :-P
Oh, yeah! I've definitely spent too much money on google and facebook ads with no return. Now, I'll wait to see these changes that Kyle is talking about. I know he alluded to them being able to help us with our super affiliate campaign, although we've lost October and we are down to 2 months now.
I just want to find the right ad campaign that will generate a premium member and then I can scale that. Right now, though, the training on ads is really outdated since Google and Facebook are even now continuing to make changes to the look of their ad setups.
Well, I need to get back to my writing one of my "top 5" articles because it won't write itself.
Cheers!
