Les Waller's Weekly Update #5
Better late than never!
Completed a free training course last weekend so applying what I learned in marketing took precedence over my weekly update blog post here.
This week I'm using social media to test what I learned before I spend money on ads.
But, this is a weekly update about last week, so let's continue in that direction.
Wow! $4.53 in adsense last week, somehow we got an expensive google ad placed on our site and someone used it. Maybe someone can explain how Amazon chooses to put premium ads on a website versus ads that pay pennies. I'd love to know why or then how we could mold our site to be attractive to high priced ads.
Amazon links - $2.59 for the past week.
2 more posts on my bootcamp site. Finished up all of the BootCamp Phase 5 work except Lesson 10 where you need to post 6x Reviews, 6x Keyword Posts, and 3 YT Videos. I'll try to get that done in 2 weeks or less.
Published two more videos on my YT channel that supports my BootCamp Site.
Published two more videos on my workout channel and started 3x day a week live broadcasts of me doing the workout; now up to 25 subscribers. Passed my Level 4 Workout Program Friday night, so on Monday I start working on Level 5. There are 10 levels.
Bought a punching bag, 4x types of Bonsai tree seeds, 150kg of sand for the punching bag base. All to add to my content on my YT channels, of course.
Finished my education requirements for this year's CISSP recertification.
Finished 2/3 of my education requirements for my CCNP recertification. Over 64 hours of cousework over the past few months, and that was just one course. One more short (24 hour) course and I'll be good through March 2021.
If this here was my full time job I wouldn't have to spend hours and hours doing educational requirements for my certifications, anymore. Luckily, where I work allows me to take the training at no cost to me. Whew!
Feels like I did a lot but it doesn't look like it.
I'll have nice surprises for you in next week's update, but that's next week. :-P

Keeping busy keeps me out of all sorts of trouble, lol.
Well, I have ordered knee high socks just for the live stream workouts, hehehe. Oh, and beware the beached whale when I'm doing "supermans", hahaha!
