The woes of waiting.
After I figured out what I have to do with amazon and the IRS, I definately took it a bit harshly. I have had issues with staying motivated in the past, and things like this for me put a damper on everything.
I want to progress with the training and guidance with wealthy affiliate but Its going to take up to 11 weeks before I even get an Itin number, where I can then FINALLY send my tax info to amazon which will take another 2 - 3 weeks. It looks like much of the training ahead has to do with dealing with amazon so it seems like I am totally stuck for 11 weeks and will not be able to do the training...
I need some guidance since I cannot even do the training at this point. All I can think of is this:
- making more content as I wait
- make the logo
- work on social media linking to my website and the biggest one I am trying to crack - Building an email list with mailchimp / setting up an auto responder
What I need is a framework, to go along with until the ridiculous waiting time is over. I want to maximize the value in my content with each post and push tons of traffic to them. SO here is what I need help with the most:
- What would be a good step by step strategy to build my list of emails?
- How can I sequence my posts with these emails to provide the value I have?
- How can I keep my audience that wants to buy products to wait or buy later? I dread the idea of a possible customer surfing my website and wanting to buy from me but I cannot post anything to sell on amazon!! I learned I may have to do this long and drawn out process with paypal for my other affilaite programs too.
Any help is greatly appreciated :)

I hope you find your answers. I have hit several hurdles too. Since I am fairly new to this field, I don't have answers for you. But you have to keep pushing forward. Use the frustration to fuel your next moves.

You don't have to wait on Amazon.
There are countless online companies you can become affiliated to so do some research.
I left Amazon about 2 years ago and in my opinion it was the best move ever.

You should look at the Live Events section -- there are webinars, training videos and tutorials on all the questions you just mentioned. Never stop learning!

I suggest you move forward and look at other options - ShareAsale, Click Bank, CJ Affiliates, EBay to name a few.
It can be very overwhelming in the beginning...Stick with the training even if you have to skip a few things and go back to them later.
It often takes sometime to 'build trust' with Google and other search engines. Regular postings and quality content appears to be key components.
