I have referred a few people to signup for WA under me. Why are all of my wa signups getting signed up at jaaxy instead?

I'm using the following link:

>>>>****my (dot) wealthyaffiliate (dot) com/createaccount?a_aid=e453efdb****<<<<<

I've messaged Kyle about this a couple of times. Why hasn't he answered yet? Does anybody know the answer to this puzzling question???

I think I may have found a possible solution/workaround....I added my aid to the end of:

wealthyaffiliate (dot) com / join / a_aid / ?XXXXXXXX

as so:

wealthyaffiliate (dot) com / join / a_aid / ?e453efdb

I'll try it out, sending my referrals to this link and see what happens.

(side note: without the question mark also works but goes right to the signup form foregoing the description of what WA is. I like the one with the question mark better. Thanks for the help there)

Thanks,
Tim

I had a looksee at my own and I can see you have missed out the question mark in yours and there isn't the word join or a forward slash either.

Right for this link - I'll correct it. What I had so much trouble finding was an actual link that would get my referrals signed up for WA and not for Jaaxy.

All of the links under the $ icon that I used got people signed up for Jaaxy!!

ALL of the signup links, whether join was in there or NOT

I'm testing the one with join in there and see if that gets my signups signed up under WA and not Jaaxy. Jaaxy is a later step imho. I don't want them to sign up for Jaaxy first...that will lose them.

Why not create a custom link and copy your WA like aziz straight from your WA links page for it.
You can use Pretty Links to do this.
Worth a try anyway.

I have done that and given those out, but they get people signed up for JAAXY!

I'm thinking that the only way to get people signed up for WA is using the link with "join" in it.

Have you contacted Tech Support?

No. Kyle directly.

I would get on to Support, they are more likely to be able to tell you what's going on with your links.

Ok I have messaged technical support directly and gave them a link to this thread. Hopefully they will answer in this "question" thread so that everybody else on here can have an answer too.

They will send you a PM.
I'm off home now but let me know how you get on.

I'm getting Jaaxy signups too, although I am getting WA invitation accepted as well. But I find it strange that I am getting notification of Jaaxy sign ups now as I didn't before.

Hopefully somebody in the know will clue us in

Since Jaaxy is now part of WA, if you get a WA referral they will also be signed up as a Jaaxy referral, provided your Jaxxy referral link is listed in your profile here at WA! I hope that makes sense. Every time I get a referral, I get notifications for both, so you should be as well.

I received no notification of new referrals here at WA. I only got Jaaxy notifications, and no new additions to my list of referrals here at WA were noted.

I only get Jaaxy notices and they are not in my list of WA referrals

If you go to your "General Settings" on WA, click your profile -> Account settings. There is a field for Jaaxy Affiliate ID, is there anything listed there? Also, when referring people to WA, there should be a unique ID at the end of the web link, ie https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/createaccount/"". The X's would be replaced with your unqiue code, that's how the system tracks that you were the referral. Your exact referral links can be found here in your account. https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/share/links. Hope that helps!

Check my response below. Whenever you use a referral link, it should have a unique code associated with it. But if you are in fact using the link that looks similar to this " https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/createaccount" where the x's are your unique referral code, and you're still not getting credit, I'd reach out to Kyle. There must be a glitch somewhere.

First, there is a Jaaxy Affiliate ID.

Secondly, of course, I have a unique tracking ID. That's why I've been able to make some referrals ever since I signed up in August last 2017 before this problem started WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE UNTIL NOW.

For the record, I have also created a custom signup up page and a Custome homepage. I've done all this right and checked myself, and the links are working fine.

And now suddenly links are sending new signups to my Jaaxy account??????

Reach out to Kyle then. I'm not sure why they're not showing up under WA, when they're in Jaaxy. I was just trying to provide basic troubleshooting cause sometimes simple errors can be made. You need to have someone look into your account further to see what the problem may be.

Thanks, a lot for your help. I'm very happy, do you know why? I've applied the training diligently, and expecting results, but the results were not forthcoming.

How can it be that I receive organic visitors who spend 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 20 minutes reading my content, and none of them clicks a link? Can this be possible? My average session duration is 10 minutes!!!!! Bounce rate is 8.9%!!!!!!!!!

Now I know the problem is not me. What a waste of time!

I'm with you. It helps tons to talk out our struggles and perhaps gain answers by observing how others overcome things :)

ok thanks Jennifer. I will if I don't get answers in this "question" that I have posted

yes, I post the 'create account' link with my affiliate id on the end. it strips it off on us automatically when we try to post it on any of these wa forums

I'll try to post it here with some weird characters in hopes of fooling their stripping software...

Gotcha! Hopefully, someone else has some insight as to why this is happening. Seems it could be a glitch, as you're getting JAAXY credit but not WA credit.

I ran a PPC comapaign, which cost me $50 for 1 day, and then instead of having WA signups, I was having JAAXY signups!!!!!!!!

Thank you very much for asking. I'm following up this conversation. Sometimes I also feel my affiliate links are not working, or working for somebody else. I have to be honest here.

This definitely needs some explanation from Kyle himself. Now that somebody else has the same issues, at least I know I'm not mad.
