Who gets credit for a WA blog affiliate link if someone signs up through that link if I post it to another site like Facebook?

Is it the author of the blog post, or me as the poster of the link?

Hey Dave,

If you publish a blog here on WA and someone comes from the internet to that blog post YOU get credit for it even though no affiliate link was used to direct that person to WA.

Here's a hand guide on using WA affiliate links: Hope you find this helpful.

Your affiliate link is unique to only you. So if they join and upgrade, you get the commission.

I'm not sure how long the cookies are active for though.

Say if someone clicks on your link and 30 days pass before they decide to purchase for example.

That confirms what I thought i'd seen Kyle say in a training video. I remember him saying something about infinite cookie lifetime too, but I could be wrong.

There seemed to be some confusion in Live Chat about this, but my question wasn't as clear as i'd liked.

I wouldn't worry too much about it, it seems to me that once YOU introduce someone to WA, they are coded to you.

Yes, that's what i understood was the case. The affiliate link button isn't working for me at the moment, but I understand it's not a 'me' thing, but a general problem. Maybe the site is being re-indexed or something?

When you use the affiliate link on top of the blog of someone else, you get credited
