I'm curious, what sold you all on IM? I'm not talking specifically about WA itself, but the concept of Internet Marketing. (Although maybe you were sold on IM via WA)

Even Kyle and Carson got into IM for a reason (back in the day ;)), so what was it eh?

What were you looking for at the time? A second income? Any income full-stop? Freedom? The dream lifestyle? A way to monetize one of your existing "hobby websites?"

We all have similar goals and dreams, but a lot of us came in here with very different "specific" primary goals.

Once you had decided to "change" something..what led you to WA?

As a woman of retirement age, I wanted something to compliment my retirement pay and keep me engaged. I chose IM and more specifically Affiliate Marketing because it can be done from anywhere and on my own time schedule. Time spent with grandchildren is very important to me as well as having more time with my husband. IM makes it possible to balance everything.

So for you it is 100% more about time than income, the income is a means to more time.

I wanted to live in China and make US dollars while I slept. The idea of making income across several time zones what what really got me excited about this whole thing.

The reason why I want to be successful at IM is to gain freedom from working for people who don't appreciate me or my work, and to be totally independent and responsible for my success.

Was getting paid off from my last job and was finding it difficult to get another one. Did a bit of searching on the internet and found there are loads of ways to make money.

Come across the bum marketer technique (starting off with no money) suited me as that's where I was at and followed them here. Signed up and got started.

I actually got a job a few days after being paid off but as the seed had been sown I continued down this path to eventually have an income I can depend on. Still working to that end.

What sold me on IM was the fact that I could do it from anywhere in the world with just an internet connection, a computer and almost nothing else. Being from a small island in tthe Caribbean, I really needed that since I was trying to suppplement my income.

Yeah similar thing to me, being an English teacher in Taiwan limits your options if you want to stay in the country.
