I just wanted to give everyone some insight into the latest commission structure between the Starter members and the Premium members. I will also detail what this means to you in terms of an overall opportunity. Starter Member Commissions: Initial $19 offer, Commission = $4 $47/mth, Commission = $11.25 $359/year, Commission = $87.50 PREMIUM Member Commissions (100% More $$) Initial $19 offer, Commission = $8 $47/mth, Commission = $22.50 $359/year, Commission = $175 This is a substantial difference. If you are promoting Wealthy Affiliate and you want to MAX out with your commissions, it is integral that you are a Premium member. It is going to drastically benefit you revenue! I also want to touch on the earning potential for each. Say you can sign-up 10 people to Premium in one month, here is the commission breakdown (with retention of 5 months taken into consideration). 10 sales Starter = ($4 + $11.25 x 5) = 60.25 per sale x 10 = $602.50 revenue 10 sales Premium = ($8 + 22.50 x 5) = 120.50 per sale x 10 = 1205.00 revenue As you can see, if you were to make 10 sales the difference in your revenue difference between Starter and Premium is going to be $602.50!! Think it is worth upgrading to premium for $47/mth? These updates are active as of today.

Do we get paid off people joining as a starter member? or will they have to become PREMIUM members before we get paid

I think you get $1 for starter members that complete certain account setup steps, but you need to maintain a certain starter to premium upgrade rate to keep getting the $1.

In the commission section it says:

Earn
$100+
Per Premium Signup

Can you explain how we can do that? Or is that just counting that it's recurring?
Reply

I believe the $100+ is if the person you refer to pays yearly..

That is considering the retention (when taking our average retention into consideration). It does not take yearly commissions into consideration, those are separate and you earn $175 for yearly commissions.

Hi everyone! I have 2 premium members...one is into their 2nd month.....and several who signed up for free memberships as far as I can tell. I only have $16.00. Is this correct?

This is wonderful news. Congrats

Does anyone know if this amount sounds correct? Seems like it should be more since one referral is into his second month

Based on what Kyle says:

PREMIUM Member Commissions (100% More $$)

Initial $19 offer, Commission = $8

I believe, it's correct. $8 multiplied by 2 premiums = $16.

Kyle, is the verified invitation commission of 1.00 per signup only available for premium members? I am only a starter member right now and I noticed under my commission schedule it states not available for verified invitation. I hope that makes sense.

If you're not premium, you won't get the $1. Also as a non premium member, you only get half of of the commissions a premium member gets.

It's all explained here on the right hand side:

Sorry to jump in, hope this helps ! :)

Yeah, the $1 is Premium only. As Chris stated, the full commission schedule is on your My Stats page.

Hi Kyle, how do I get the Plans and Pricing chart (in your Getting Started page) with my aff links into my website? Thanks!
Reply
Kyle Premium
That is not available as a promotional resource at this point (the plans/pricing grid), we will be updating the promotional materials though going forward. Actually working on a system for that as well so we can get promo materials quicker to folks here!

Thanks for your prompt response Kyle! Which should be the landing page to use when we have the sign-up for $0 in our website? Thanks
Reply
Kyle Premium
You could send them either directly to the wealthyaffiliate.com page via your affiliate link, or to the join page.

Then you append your affiliate ID to the end of it:

I was discussing the possible sign up options with a potential sign up this morning and a question came up which I could not answer. Suppose a person signs up for Premium and creates (say) ten sites and after six months decides to leave WA and pays no more monthly subscriptions.
What happens to those ten sites?
Are they de-activated and if so at what time after the payment was due?
Or does the person get a time period to move them to another host?
Or .......?
Would appreciate knowing what happens please,
Regards

Hudson

60 days after the membership is cancelled those would be removed...until that time, we would keep them live. And yeah, they would be able to transfer them to a host (on their own time) if they wanted to do that.

Hope that clarifies.

Thought the commissions had dropped there for a second until I saw that it only applied to starter members..haha. Affiliates for my new venture will be directed to WA anyway!

Kyle Premium
Yeah, take note of the $8 commissions for the first month offer...those turn into normal $22.50 commission the 2nd month. That is what you may have noticed Cian. :)

You going to make Vegas this year? Would love to have you there in 2014!

It's a possibility!!

Had a BIG meeting with the uncle today and he's set a few goals for me business-wise to go after. It will need affiliates (ideally) and sure there's only one place to send them online and feel GREAT about it :)

Will drop you an email later, because the plan is slightly different to what I've told you previously... either way exciting times!!

Exactly, make WA your training resource for affiliates, send them here, let them get training and they will have access to the tools/training they need to promote your product and service. This could lead to a lot of WA referrals and better promotion of your guys product/service.

Look forward to the email! :)

Hello Kyle: As a member when you say promote WA and signing up people is this done by word of mouth or online, As a new member how am i to promote WA when i am just about WA myself.

You can learn how to promote the WA affiliate program via our bootcamp course, check it out here:

Hey Kyle if I upgrade tp premium will that be a "new" account? Or will my starter account just carry over?
Reply
Kyle Premium
It will upgrade your Starter account, so it will be the same account (all your affiliate links will remain the same).

Something else to think about is you only need 2 people to pay for your own WA membership less $2 so just about making it free. Pretty sweet deal if you think about it. Plus all the awesome stuff it gives you access to.
Reply
Kyle Premium
Absolutely Ty, 2 sales and your membership is taken care of...then you get all the awesomeness of premium for essentially FREE. :)

Kyle what is the difference between raw and unique clicks. Also on my stats page it says amount to be paid on march 1st, 2013 is $180.25, but it also shows that I have no sales. could you please explain that to me.

I am expecting to see a big change in March when my campaign gets rolling. Peter
Reply
Kyle Premium
These could have been recurring commissions, not new sales. Also, raw clicks are any clicks to your link (the same person could click your links 10 times and it would count as 10 raw clicks) whereas uniques are unique visitors to your links.

Are only Wealthy Affiliate starter members and Premium members the only ones allowed to promote Wealthy Affiliate? If not, what commission are the others getting? Thanks Kyle
Reply
Kyle Premium
Not sure how someone else would promote WA? lol

Yeah, you have to be a member of WA to promote WA, either a Starter or a Premium.
Reply
Sherion Premium
I was thinking along the lines of someone just being an affiliate that would promote WA. For example a person could be an affiliate promoting Jaaxy and not have to be member there. Right? But, either way you answered my question. Thanks Kyle
Reply
Kyle Premium
No, you cannot promote any product without being a member. How would you get your affiliate links? You have to "join" any affiliate program, Jaaxy is no different. You have to be a premium or trial member there as well to promote that affiliate program.

Really worth upgrading.. plus the commissions you get are a bonus, at least for me it is.. It's everything that you'll get from the community that's really worthy of upgrading.
Reply
Kyle Premium
You, the higher commissions are just an extra bonus you get as Premium. There is so much more included within Premium...
