I am in the WA Bootcamp program and my niche is making money online. I want to start doing product reviews that are outside of this niche, products that I personally know and recommend. I thought I could have a single category for this like Top Products or something.

My question is should I promote these types of products even though it's outside of my niche?

I'm a bit tired of reviewing online scams or helpful ideas to build websites, etc.

I like the idea of having a 'Products I Recommend' page, especially if you are going to be reviewing all different types of products. If it was me, I wouldn't want to create a new niche for each product.
If I have been following you on-line, and I trust you, I am going to read/trust your reviews.

That's kind of what I was originally thinking. I'm just putting the idea on hold for now and sticking with the bootcamp program. But maybe as the site continues to develop I'll figure something out.

Maybe its time for a second income-generating website... I plan on starting a second or even third once I get my first one under control, and then I can link out to my other sites (when/where appropriate of course!). Don't put all your eggs in one basket!

It's never a good idea to start promoting things outside your niche - you don't want to confuse your visitor.

And more importantly you don't want to change the focus of your visitor which is away from getting referrals to the WA.

There is a lot more then writing reviews and helpful hints.

You can take ideas from TV, news paper headlines, magazines and use this information and have it on your site.

I go to Chapters (a book store in Canada) and walk through the magazine section all the time to get content ideas for promoting the WA - and I get my Starbucks fix at the same time - win - win.

Start thinking outside the box for your content. Kyle also made a huge list of targeted audiences which you could create tons of content for. Scroll down the page to see the list:

For example I did a post about a friend of mine who was a pizza delivery driver.

And with all this make sure to do your keyword research for those low hanging keywords and you'll be golden

That's kind of what I was thinking but I thought I could have a little tab of product recommendations since I have such an extensive career in Occupational Therapy and experience as a crossfitter. So I thought I could recommend products that I know and personally use.

I think my niche would have been better as a Todd'sReviews.com or something. I'm not as inspired about always talking about how to get people into online marketing.

Do what inspires you - take your experience in occupational therapy and crossfit and run with that - your passion seems to be there.

You will find success faster doing what you're interested in. Listen to your gut - what is it telling you?

Thanks Leo, but do you think I should put it on my Learn to grow wealth online site or start another? I want to finish the WA bootcamp program before starting another site.

And the reality is I can keep going on my site and still enjoy my work.

Personally I would have 2 separate sites - each is a different niche.

But with that said - I would only focus on one.

Only if you think you will enjoy researching that niche. You will be writing about it so you also need to know about it. That might mean you know about it know or you will learn.
