If you have a Pinterest account, post a link to your profile here so we can all network together. Let's make this an interactive post and try to follow at least 5 people in this thread so we can help each other build out our Pinterest following. Maybe we will learn a thing or two from each others boards. :)

Did you find it? I'm having some trouble with Pinterest myself. It just won't work when I'm in Chrome, but I switch to Safari and it's fine. (Rolling my eyes.) Once you find that info from Pinterest, be sure to check this training. I found it to be VERY useful and informative.

I have in the past. Just about three weeks ago it stopped allowing me to log in through Chrome. I thought it was at the Pinterest end until I thought to try other browsers, and they work just fine. It's some setting I have in Chrome, and I'll need to wait until I'm less annoyed about it to track down the problem. :)

I previously claimed my website on pinterest but didn't grab my metatag html. Now I am trying to find it on my profile. I don't want to unclaim my website because all saved pins will lose my profile attachment. Does anyone know how to find the metatag after the fact? I don't see any way to email any kind of support on pinterest. I don't see the info in their faqs.

Hi Taresa, if you go to your pinterest page and go to the 3 dots at the top righthand of the page, click on them and you will get a dropdown box and in it there is a place where it says get help, click on this and it takes you to your FAQ's. xxx

Hey Taresa,

Google searching "metatag for pinterest" (without the quotation marks, of course) Pinterest's help page for this was offered up as search result #1: https://help.pinterest.com/en/articles/claim-your-website

Their instructions for "Use a meta tag" should lead you to the code you are looking for. This is to verify your website with Pinterest, so you may want to watch the following tutorial before you begin: Hope this helps you.

Thanks. I have been there. Not finding an answer for retrieving the code after the fact.

I apparently had already claimed it and never put it in under SEO only under my page header in php. Now it doesn't exist in the header assume that is because I have updated my theme. Maybe I don't need to worry with this since my website has been claimed on pinterest already.

I would just leave this as it is then Taresa. xxx

Hey Taresa,

You assumed correctly. It is never a good idea to make your edits nor additional scripts directly on to your theme for that exact reason... once the theme is updated your edits are overwritten.

If you want to track your success rate on Pinterest, you will need to keep your site verified. However, if tracking is not important to you then you could leave it off.

Also, if you are not following these platforms, I would love it! I have noticed I have very few, and in some cases, no likes at all on some of my posts on Facebook, Twitter, and Google. Would love likes, +1s, and hearts!

Me too, checking out your training, I made it up to 53.500 viewers a month now only by working with creating pin boards and sub groups.

I guess I can increase those numbers with your training.

Once my website launches I will have many photos to share of my own.
