I would not know where to look, so I'm throwing out there to my fellow members...
I want to link a training of Jay's, to my newest post.

By doing so, will the person who clicks the link, be able to watch the video without needing to sign up first?

You can select the Anonymous feature on the Google browser to test what happens. When I did this using the affiliate link from WA, I was allowed to see a snippet of the training before a message appeared for me to sign up as a Premium member in order to watch the whole training.

Try it and see if you get this same result.

Cheers.

if you type the title into the search box the results will show what can be viewed by anyone - no diamond or crown - premium - diamond - or premium plus - crown
it is the same for when you share the content
anything with no crown or diamond can be shared and viewed - althogh after a time period they get an annoying popup preventing them from reading any more and asking them to sign up
sharing any premium content takes the clicker straight to a signup page.....
have fun

I thought that may be the case, that a person could read a blog without having to sign up. Thanks for confirming this for me!

Hi, non members cannot watch any of Jay's training even if they sign up as starters, unless they become premium first, as those are copyrighted to WA.

I believe you'd need include an image and a link to the training if remember correctly sharing videos outside the platform.

Thanks, I wasn't sure, although I figured that that may be the case.
The training caught my eye while searching for a blog about social media , THAT I know I can share without them being a member.

Or, do they have to sign up to read a blog?

That's only applicable for Jay's events or trainings, however others outside platform if they allow an embed share button.

Otherwise it will have to be the above procedure, this has happened to us in the past, we were editing using Elementor and it didn't play that's how we found out.

No. A pop up signing up prompt get displayed after a while, however they can click the x in corner to close it.

You're welcome Rudy.

Actually Phil's point above we included in our recent tutorial, yes if it says Premium or Premium Plus + then yes would be locked.

However I would share something listed under uncategorized that would be seen by non members.

Jay’s weekly webinars are only for Premium and Premium Plus+ Members, so your visitor will be asked to upgrade before they can watch it. But if you use your Affiliate Link for that video, then you will be credited for the referral.

Always check your WA Affiliate Links via an Incognito Browser, or by Signing Out first.
