If a referral is a Premium member but then opts out and leaves (by not paying the monthly subscription for example), does the ‘Premium’ tag and member immediately disappear from the My Referrals:Premium list, or does it linger there for a while?

Just as an aside. they can't revert to being free once they have been a premium member.

Yeh, i really meant ‘ceased to be Premium’. I’ve edited my question. Thanks.

No, the "premium" will be replaced by "cancelled". You won't see them in your list of referrals. This will reflect right away, day 1 of not paying the membership fee.

I’m seeing a Premium member still in my Premium list, but no recurring affiliate credit has been paid on the ‘due’ date (1st March). They signed up for Premium on 1st Feb. I’m now not sure if they’re still a Premium member.

Is the monthly anniversary the same day of each month, or has the fact that Feb only had 28 days buggered it up?

That's a good question. I'm not sure how the timing works on pay outs. But as long as you can see the "premium" on their name, it means they are still on good standing with WA.

Maybe wait a couple more days for the payout to reflect?

Still nothing showing in the recurring revenue for this member. I’ve PM’d @Kyle but had no reply. I have another Premium member that should trigger recurring revenue on 4th March too. Let’s see what happens there. If I don’t see anything there’s something strange going on. 😉

I’m thinking that their payment has failed and therefore WA can’t pass on an affiliate payment.

The member is now marked as Payment Pending, with the following text:

“Payment Pending means that this members payment failed on our last attempt to collect and they are in a grace period. We will attempt 3 times before the user's membership will be closed. We allow a grace period as there are many reasons a payment may fail such as credit card expiry or insufficient balance.”

Its good to know that there is a grace period.
Hope it will reflect very soon!

It seems the two Premiums I introduced in early February are both having trouble paying for their 2nd month. 😉

I feel you. My first & only referral so far has a cancelled status now:(
That's fine, there are billions of people out there looking for this kind of opportunity!

Cheers!

Yep, we can't waste time on people who don't want to be here.
