OK, I am in Boot Camp Course 2 Lesson 2. It is necessary to make changes to my review post. I can edit like I originally wrote but it does not stay. It seems like I must edit now on the code copy, which seems daunting. Do I need to start over? Get it perfect and then publish it?

I appreciate your help,

Daisy

Thank you Tiff,
It looks like I can save revisions at WA.
Do you think I need to trash the one I published
and publish the edited one at WA.
I did not know it had to be perfect when I published.
I appreciate you,
Daisy

No that's not necessary. Just revise on your wordpress dashboard and leave the published copy here on WA as is. It won't matter what it looks like here. As long as your copy on your website is revised and how you want it then that's all that matters. (:

Hi Tiff,
It is too scarry to edit on the code page.
It seems you would have to know how to code to do this.
Like I need to indent and make bold and I would like to add
to what I have already written.
Do you know how to edit from the way it looks on the site?
Do you edit from a published post? is it a coded text?
Maybe I am not communicating the right question.
Thanks for helping.
I appreciate you,
Daisy

It sounds like your in the "text" tab of your edit post section of your Wordpress dashboard. This is going to be located under the title of your article to the far right of the "add media" button. Make sure to switch it over to "visual". When you do that it should look like normal with no coding. I'm sorry you're having so much trouble, I hope this helps.
Please let me know (:

Is go to site manager and log into your site and bring up the post and correct or add to and click on update. Try that and see what happens.

Hi Mar,
It is still not changing my edits.
Someone said that after I publish it is not in WA anymore,
but rather in Word Press. So I will go back and see if that helps me. I do not want to try to edit in the coded page. May as well start over. Thanks for your input,
I appreciate you,
Daisy

Hi Marmar,
I was on text instead of visual. It is amazing what one cannot see until we do it once or twice.
Thanks for hanging in there with me.
I appreciate you,
Daisy

Go to your wp dashboard, click posts, hover over the post you want to edit, another line will appear, click edit, do your editing, click save or publish. That's it.

Hi Brian,
Evidently I cannot edit in the WA site now that it is published.
I will try again as you say to go to WP and figure this out. Somehow it has to be easier than it seems.
Thanks.
I appreciate you,
Daisy

Yes, that would make a big difference. Text sounds like where you would want to be, but in reality it is for pasting in code for a banner. Glad it helped!
