I've heard about people using solo ads to promote WA and I wonder if we could do something like that and create a shared email list and a common advertising plan to lower research and promotion costs.

Anybody interested?

In theory, solo ads seems like a good idea, because in theory, the people in solo ad lists are seeking opportunity. (In theory)

However, the mass majority of 99.9% of solo ad providers are selling fraudulent clicks, and their lists are full of corruption.

Buyer beware ‼️

I don't personally believe in promoting with solo Ads at all as I know people need a lot of motivating and encouraging words before they finally decide to take actions. Buying solo Ads would be a waste of time but helping other out of one problem or the other and recommending WA to them has done me a lot of good in this business. Thanks for your post!

Reading this thread, I have used SOLO ads but not to promote WA

Confirming what others have out, they are good for building up your list, but you do have to question the quality of them at times and are they serious about business.

Its off the track I know, but might give further food for thought as it works for me and has done for a number of years

I follow the strategies shown here in terms of using sights like Quora, YouTube, Twitter, Linkedin and IBO toolbox, becaue by engaging on these platforms, you can build quality targeted leads through the content you share along with the KLT factor, so it works better

As I say just food for thought.

Thanks Dave for the IBO toolbox update. Haven't heard of them but just checked the site out. Got any pointers, training, etc...about IBO?

Mark, I was curious about IBO, first time I hear about them, but this review says, no-no

I never heard of them either. I think we would have heard of them here if they were legit. I always check BNS about all these marketing, mmo, etc.....outfits and organizations.

Did you by any chance join WA as a result of Mark Barrett's 5 Minute Money Machine?

I also learnt about WA through Mark and joined through him so he would have got his affiliate commission when I upgraded to premium. But I've been disappointed at the total lack of support. Support was emphasized as part of his and Vicki's sales spiel but has been non-existent.

As advised, I bought 200 solo ads from Udimi at a cost of A$118.64. This resulted in 78 referrals.

However, not one of those referrals has even bothered to complete their profile, so clearly the chances of them upgrading is zero.

A total waste of money.

So what's the problem? Presumably the quality of the leads.

I need to find a recommended solo ad supplier.

I've reached out to Mark with 2 emails to their support address and also a message on WA.

No response at all. Not even an acknowledgment.

Thank you so much. This is exactly what I feared. The problem here is clear. You and David and who knows how many others are probably buying the same method, fine, no problem with author profits, but are alo buying perhaps from the same low quality list!
What if we join our efforts, and coordinate a plan to get the best possible solo ads providers and discard the low quality lists?

I think I need to do more research to find a vendor with quality leads in the IM space and who has genuine testimonials. I went into it blind last time, believing Mark's hype that you just picked someone at random from Udimi and it would all work.

My suggestion is to join forces, instead of doing individual trial and error. I am sure that this will be the only way, else it's another rat race.

Unless you've got another idea, it will still come down to us as individuals trying out different suppliers but just coordinating first so that we don't overlap and then sharing successes and failures.

I'd consider that.

That may be a good way to start. I'm in.

It's night time here so I'll look at some potential solo ad suppliers and get back to you tomorrow. Also let you know the one I tried for zero result.

The solo ads supplier that I used was https://udimi.com/adamfravel.
I got 78 referrals.
None of them have completed their profiles.
They each have just 3 followers, Kyle, Carson and me.
They all received an automated welcome message from me and a follow-up message 3 days later because they hadn't completed their profiles.
Absolutely zero response.
To me, this means either
1) They are fake email addresses with an automatic sign-up bot or
2) They are people recruited by the solo ads supplier to respond to his emails, take the requested sign-up action and do nothing else. I imagine there'd be plenty of people who'd do that for 10 or 20 cents a click, leaving a nice profit for the solo ads supplier.

Am I being too cynical?

Have a look at udimi and also https://soloadsx.com/ and see if anyone takes your eye.

Perhaps we could pick 2, give them a try and compare results.

Sorry, couldn't wait. I've tried Martin Bunn from https://soloadsx.com/. His website is http://www.hotclicks4u.com/.

I bought 200 for US$70.

Guess we'll see what happens.

Maybe I'm just a slow learner :-(

Well done, Phil. Just Do It.
Please keep us posted. I don't have time to do a solo ads campaign right now, but I am willing to put some money in if any of you can find a potential winner and decide to invest together.
