I get editorial collaboration requests and article submission requests from time to time. I usually ignore them as my current policy is to write all the articles myself for my websites rather than using guest posts.

With the last such request I replied back with "I feel that the solution below may solve your needs better" followed by a 2-3 sentences about WA followed by a link at my website that resolves back to my WA link.

The person replied back with a "I appreciate the offer but it's not what I need for the moment." along with a request would I be open to publish his article on my website.

I have decided "no" however want to include a short effective summary about WA that may persuade him to look at WA. After all he has a website, up and running. And wants other website owners to publish his articles on their sites as a guest writer.

I need ideas for this short effective summary about WA for my reply.

I look forward to your ideas and suggestions. Many thanks.

Hi David I like the question that Michael asked, were you able to read what he wants you to publish?

As for ideas, this my opinion, but if you're communicating in a more personal basis, I would go by instincts.

If they shared their website with you, you can see if some of their keywords are ranking and explain to him or her how WA really does a great job with helping website owners rank high in the search engines.

Hi Evelyn, that is a good approach. I have already replied to his last email. I will follow your suggestion if he comes back again or when someone else wants something similar in the future.

Hi Evelyn I am now using the paid for WP theme for about a week now which @magistudios mentioned in his recent live training. I am really pleased about it so far. I look at his recordings when I get a chance. The ones in January 2019 were really good in my opinion.

Hi David, I believe you have made the right decision. It is hard to understand why having a website himself he is asking you to publish his content on your site, just doesn't make sense. Have you read or seen what he wants you to publish.

Hi Michael, thanks. I have seen his website and some of the articles there. He uses guest writers himself. I have not seen what he wants me to publish as he wants "my nod" before sending me the article. I feel once I give that "nod" that I would be obligated to continue the process.

I replied back with a "no thanks" type of response along with "If your article is so good why don't you publish it on your own website? That way your website readers will see it and the search engines will rank your original and unique content, and hopefully you get website visitors. One thing here is to look at your SEO for your articles on your own website. Look at the SERP, SEO title and SEO description in this regard. I truly believe that the solution I mentioned earlier could help you. Anyway, good luck with your project."

I see what he comes back with.

He came back with "thanks for the feedback" so I am not continuing the conversation with him further based on that.

Onward and upwards.
