Hi Community,

I've got a member/student here who's having a heard time understanding the lessons and so he can't get much out of the classes. He understands how to read English, I just don't think he understands it hen it's spoken.

He was told that if he got a copy of the coursework or an MP4 he could get it translated. The WA member has contacted Kyle, Carson, and Support with no response (per this member).

I've looked into this and there doesn't seem to be a solution. One idea I had was to see if he could record the lessons and then get them translated. Like use Google Dictation to record the lessons and then Google Translate to get the meaning.

That's probably is not a good working solution so I just wanted to see if anyone in the community had any ideas for this member.

Any ideas are welcome.

Thanks,

Todd

You can also contact the WA member as well. Here's his profile: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/ben888

It is very kind of you Todd to go these extra steps to help someone who has a little trouble with English. I am going to be using 5 languages on my site and transcripts are definitely going to be in my arsenal. Loes is always a great help. Good luck in all of your MMO endeavors my friend.

Yeah, I just tried to record a class with Google Dictation and it's just too inconsistent to work.

I let the member know that I think it would be more work and frustration. Hopefully the courses Loes provided can help out.

It's gotta be a tough situation. But for sure I can see this helping someone become very efficient in reading and writing English as their second language.

Thanks for all the help everyone!

I think the issue here is that it’s very difficult to find a translation software that is reliable and accurate. And you definitely don’t want to go through that whole process and only to have inaccurate translations that cause mixups. Then, even if all the lessons were translated perfectly, the member still runs a high chance of having language barrier issues later when interacting outside of WA when applying for affiliate programs, when using Jaaxy, etc.
