Hi everyone I have been in WA about a year now http://www.myhealthyafro.com and haven't made any sales through my affiliate links. This is the second time Amazon has closed my account because I couldn't meet their 3sales in 180 days rule. Am j doing something wrong? I would also like to maybe take a small break (financial issues) but save my website or only pay for hosting then come back when things get back.on track. How do I go about this?Any pointers will be appreciated.

You've got some terrific advice here.
I know you are frustrated right now but don't quit. Take a head break for a month. Keep your website and just relax and mull it over. I did this and came back fresh and ready to get going again.
It would be a shame to waste all your hard work.

I left Amazon and found other Affiliate programs because the cookie is too short and they pay peanuts. Better to have one or two higher priced products with long cookies.

I too think you need to split your long posts. Google really likes 1300 words. Perhaps focus on these two aspects and you will get a fresh wind.

Wishing you success
Lily 😁🎶

You have some great advice, I would think it over because WA does not do hosting unless you're a member, if you cancel you can go to an outside site and be hosted for 2.95 a month, that is your only recourse upon cancellation. I would truly consider the great advice got below first and foremost.

Don't forget that Amazon has a one-day cookie, so unless your items are impulse purchases, people may be returning to buy after the 24 hours are up.

Personally I wouldn't do the "Get It Here" with the link at the top of the segment rather than at the bottom after the review. Some of the articles seemed pretty long too. I know that people think that 2,000 word posts or longer are popular, but they are only popular with Google, not with your readers. It's just too long. I try to stick with a maximum of 1200 words. Consider splitting some of the posts into two and making them even more focused on a segment of your topic.

Thanks for the advice. I will look into that.

You have a beautiful site with excellent content but you need to be posting more frequently. Try posting twice a week if possible as that will help things along. Also as mentioned already, remove the Wealthy Affiliate banner as it's a completely different niche. I'm certain you will start to see success in time providing you stay on course. ☺

Thanks Kathy for your advice. At the moment I will be happy if I can publish a post per week.😅

I was told that WA affiliate link should not be on your site, because your nitch is not making money, so Google does not like it and visitors may loose interest by the ambassador. I am very new to this and currently I am trying to figure out how do I proceed my business here.
