Peace on Earth and Good Will Toward Men

When Christ was born the angels proclaimed peace on earth and good will toward men. This was an angelic benediction on the birth of Jesus. This benediction refers to God's good will toward men giving his only son as a Savior, the Prince of Peace.

The holidays are the perfect time of year to reflect on your influence upon others around you.

We think about how the energy and positivity we put out into the world can have breed an ocean of positivity, empathy and love for our fellow man.

We can believe it or not, but the feelings of hostility, anger even our prejudices, that we project can take root and spread to everyone around us.

Experts call this phenomenon social contagion. Social contagion relates to the emotions and behaviors that are 

duplicated within a population and imitated by others.

The question of the day is “What energy are you putting out into the world?” What influence are you having on someone else’s mood or day?

The posts and comments in Wealthy Affiliates often lift our mood and give us the courage and convictions to fight another day.

Hopefully, we are uplifted by the positive self-help articles that are posted by our members. We find comfort in the shared struggles and victories that others attain.

Alternatively, we experience the downside when we read the newspaper or encounter a naysaying relative or friend that exudes hostility or constantly complains about the problems in the world.

We are social beings; the reason social media becomes so central to our lives is we are exposed to the energy and influence of thousands of individuals daily

So, the question of the day is “What type of energy are you putting out into the world?” What influence are you having on someone else’s mood or day? To be the best that we can be.
