Using the keyword tool here, I've been looking at different rankings of keywords, and now I've looked at quite a few and have been blocked from google.

I've got the ente

This has started happening to me, but it's just been recently. I'm not sure my use of keyword tool has increased.

Hey Phil, it does seem like it has changed a little. I have been using it a bit more and faster, don't know if the speed has something to do with it, but I'm sure there must be something a little different. At least it's probably not something on my laptop then

I don't thnk it's your laptop.

The WA Keyword Tool has a "cool-down" You can't spam or over use it unfortunately. Just sit in time out for awhile and it will work again soon. (I can't remember the exact cooldown rate)

This has nothing to do with Google, or them changing anything.
Other members, have had this issue in the past. It's just how the WA Keyword Tool works.

Ok thanks. I may have been spamming it a little more than before, but it does seem to be a little bit more strict than before. I'll try keep calm :D

Hey, is there anyone here in Berlin, or Germany, that is following Elliot Hulse and interested in going to his seminar coming up?

If you are on his email list you will know

Hi, I am from Berlin and I am a follower of Elliott Hulse but not that huge of a follower to be ready to pay that amount of money.
I only pay that kind of money for RSD Hot Seats.
We could meet up anyway just to hang out and talk!
Greetings

Sebastian

Berlin and e. hulse conference, anyone interested?

Does anyone know how to add in a "notification by email" to comments in your site?

I have tried "Subscribe to comments reloaded" plugin on my test site, but I can't quite g

I just installed "Comment Reply E-Mail Notification" by guhemama, because it's supposed to do what I wanted; i.e., to send the author of a comment on my website an e-mail when I (or someone else) replies to their comment. We do this here at WA. Why not do it in our business?

Hope this helps. Ted

This is the plugin I use. It's called "Send email only on Reply to My Comment" and it gives you additional settings under the comment field.

Log into WP Dashboard and under Plugins ==> Add New, type in or copy and paste "Send email only on Reply to My Comment" (without " ) and once you've found it, click install.

You don't have to do anything in settings as it is already activated once installed.

Hope this works for you and good thing is, it's maintained and updated regularly.

Hey, I tried this as well and had the same problem when trying to go to the "manage subscription" page. I know it can be done in the email to unsubscribe, at least it says that, but I want it to all act well together, I'm being fussy.

They are the same plugins as well essentially. Thanks for replying, I will have a look into both again later :)

Interesting. Try these settings. That's how I personalized it.

Log into WP Dashboard and under Settings ==> Subscribe To Comments you can modify any settings. Click on the tab called "Notifications".

Under "Sender Name" you should put something in people can identify. Your name of the website or Comment Subscription, something like that.

In the second line where it says "Sender Email Address" you do just this, so the plugin can actually send out a notification as it has a sender address. Don't use your personal email. This can be something like notify@yourwebsite.com.

Click "Save Changes", log out of WordPress, leave a comment using a different email address than the senders email address (your personal one in this case) and check "Send Email Notification ONLY If Someone Replies To My Comment(s)", log back into WordPress , approve and reply to the comment.

Shortly after you replied you should get a notification that you've received a reply to your comment. In this email you'll see a link to your subscription management page. Click on it and it should give you various options to manage your subscriptions, including delete/unsubscribe.

Being fussy is good and you should be. I can relate to this as I want things to work properly as well...LoL. ;)

Anyway, there are other plugins I can point to you if that doesn't help. Also, if you have some idea of coding and CSS, it can be done there as well.

Let me know how it works out for you.

I recently got an email from someone asking about boosting my twitter followers. They say they are offering some for free and that they are real followers.

I'm pretty suspic

Thanks all. Straight away I'm suspicious when they don't even call me by name. My name is clear on my about me page, even though they mention my site and twitter page, it doesn't sound like they're talking to me, so most likely they're not

Most of them are not real, you do not need robots to read your posts

Most of such "offers", especially through an unsolicited email, are pure garbage. Your suspicions are well founded. I'd avoid such offers like the plague.

free might be OK, but you really want followers that are interested. That is done by doing a search for your interest, and then following some of those people, and their followers. Also your activity level in tweets. I've been told to give value 90% of the time, and pitch something 10% of the time. Value can be re-tweets or original content.

No I have not and would not consider it. You can build up your Twitter following naturally. Takes some time but at least you know they are real. :>))

Hey does anyone here use madmimi for newsletters and sumome for the popups to subscribe to their list?

I've done a little test myself but when I put a test email in the subs

Never used either but I will look into them. I have always used mail chimp for newsletters. I don't use pop-ups because I hate them. I try to block all of them or simply close them once they open.

Thanks all. Doesn't help that my internet has slowed down super slow for the next few days. Appreciate the help :)

I use mad Mimi on one site but I have not used sumome. I will br lurking on this :)

Sorry Vince, haven't had any experience with madmimi or sumome. Have you asked on the chat session if anyone has experience with them? Just a thought.

Have a wonderful holiday season. Pamela

I have never used 3ither one but i have used awber and it teaches you how to do it all very simple instructions
