Writing REVIEWS about Scam on my WEBSITE, how protected am I against LAW SUITES from the companies that I writing ABOUT?

Your statements and reviews has to be backed up by evidence

What you write is your opinion Vusi. If you are writing factual content then you will have to provide proof of this to back it up.
Jerome

If you write a review based on information that is readily available on the internet, it is opinion and your right.
If you want further protection, you can always place a disclaimer stating that your statements are your opinion from research and you welcome comments below.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion. If you present it as such you will be just fine. But always make sure that you reference your material (websites, pages, and/or posts) at the bottom of your page that supports your opinion. This will not only protect your opinion, but allow you to gain trust for your site as well.

You have the right to free speech. But do not have the right to slander or libel anyone, including companies. You cannot assume facts not in evidence. As Marion states, "Don't imply that anything is a fact unless you can back it up with indisputable proof."

An Intellectual Property (IP) attorney can provide legal advice regarding your question.

I agree with the comments below, it's your opinion and you have the right of free speech. I have read many reviews, good and bad,and don't belieive I have even seen anyone state "this is my opinion".

Hi, if you are worried about this issue seek advise from a business lawyer on the aspect that you are particularly concerned about. Tracey

Marion has given you good advice. ~Jude

Every post that people share is and can recieve a negative comments or two. There are no amendment "Rights" when posting a website. Once we... they... whoever posts, the content can become scrutinized by ANYBODY. Webmasters should be open to recieve positive or negative feedback. People may or may not get offended. But once a review is posted whether bad or good, you shouldn't worry too much about law suits because there has to be an opposing factor in All things... I hope this helps!

Always say that it is your OPINION. Don't imply that anything is a fact unless you can back it up with indisputable proof. You have no protection if you libel a person or a company.

Exactly. You had heard the statement, " Everyone is entitled to their opinion?"

In the USA it is the very 1st Amendment.

If thecreview is true how can you get sued?

I copy links of WA Banners ONTO my Websites. When click on CLICK HERE TO REGISTER,they do not ope up the REGISTRATION FORM...why?

I wish I have the money for a domain name for my second website, so I can write more content on it. If I get subscribers and turn them into referrals, then it'll be dollar signs. ($) Yeah, baby!!!

Hi once you insert them into your page you need to set up the hyperlink using your affiliate referral code.

Hi Vusi,
I see you already have the help you need. Hope you finally got them on your site.

Regards,
Jerome

Does the form show up when you click the link from someone else's computer? Are you using an incognito window (or private window) when you click on the links?

I suspect that there's a WA cookie on your machine that's identifying you as already being a member. In that case, you won't see a sign-up form.

[added]
Have you had a chance to check your links from another computer or with a private window?

Hi there Vm,
I'm pretty certain that we have to insert them into the "links" as per image below.
Hope this works,
Cheers...PB

You also may have to change page to Text...

Hi,

are you using the full HTML code?
Do you paste it in the text editor?

If you can answer both with "yes", then it should work as intended.
If you want, you can send me a link to your site and I have a look at your banners.

Cheers
Moritz

I have a collection of videos ,which I want to use on my websites. Every time I try to load them the message pops up saying, you videos is more than 12mb. How can I COMPACT my

See if this helps

Why don't you upload them to Youtube and then embed them in your website? This saves you a lot of space and it works perfectly

Here is an additional free assortment to examine. https://www.premiumbeat.com/blog/free-apps-plugins-video-editing/

You have many possibilities to upload your video. There is Youtube, Dropbox, Amazon S3, etc. Then you just need to put the link on your website and that's it.

Hey there!

If you wish to upload videos directly onto your website, that's great. The standard is either an .mp4 or a .ogv file which will significantly reduce size. Keep in mind, this depends on whether or not you are trying to upload a 2 hour file or a 20 sec file.

Also, is it Wordpress limiting you? Because 12mb isn't a lot at all in general for video.

There are loads of converters to get to .mp4 or .ogv depending on whether you are on Mac OS X or Windows OS.

Hope this helps a bit.

PS: If it's really large, let YouTube or a site like Vimeo do the work if you wish to retain quality as Vimeo is better for quality.

Remember you can privatize videos on those sites so only people on the site can see them if you wish it to be like that.

Good luck!

Was asking the same question so am following

ok i hope you understood

Can you reduce size of your vdo outside? if yes you can use some tool like 'freemake vdo converter' or 'Handbrake' to reduce size but quality still remain the same. then you can upload as wish.

you want to put them on your post I suppose?you go to a video, and under the video, you have 3 options . the middle one share. you press it and after this embed. you copy the link there. After you go yo your post on the text vision,(not visual) and paste it :) that.s all :) if you don;t understand something ask :)

Where are you trying to upload your videos? Have you considered uploading them to Youtube, individually, then embedding them in your pages/posts?

Try not to upload pics and videos to your WA hosting because there is a limit.

Upload them where?

how do they join under my name,so I can get commission?

I learned something today that I did not know about, great question VMthimunye :)

Thank you for asking. Our members have explained it so clearly.

please see the 2 attachments here, following the steps 1 and 2, then click the links and tracking. your id will show in e.g 12222344.

I could not have explained it any better

Hi Vusi...

If you look up at the top of your screen you will see a little black plane...click on that and a drop box will appear...you need to select LINKS & TRACKING...

When you open it, this where you will find your PERSONAL AFFILIATE LINK...there are 4 of them...the top one is probably the best one to start off with.

When you scroll down the page you will find a bunch of different banners all different...and you can choose the one you like the best. Each banner has its own code with YOUR affiliate link in it.

All you have to do is highlight or copy that code...then place it in the TEXT area of your site in the wp-panel area of your site...press update...press VISUAL...your banner should appear on your site...

Anyone who finds your site and clicks on YOUR banner will automatically register that it's your referral and once they start getting paid...you will get paid...WA will notify you when this happens!

Let me know how you get on...

Kind regards

Steve

wow ! THANKS SO MUCH STEVE. You made my day.
have a lovely day and best success on your endeavor
regards
Vusi

You're welcome Vusi...
Let me know if you get stuck on anything else!
Best wishes
Steve

Thank You Steve. Much Appreciated. Another Lesson Learned!

No worries!

Use the links from:
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/share

as the URL to your banners for WA. That way you will get paid for the joins through that click.

As long as you put your referral link on your website, you will get paid if someone joins through that referral link. You will see your link under WA Affiliate Program. There are a few you can choose from.

thanks for you help Mergie. Is such a relief
