Good evening Vicky,
Sorry, I am struggling with this myself. The strange thing with this speed page checker is that every time I do this check I get different results, I do not know what to think of it less making big changes.

Hey Vicky,
Would only be guessing (which is NOT wise) without knowing the EXACT prompt your received from the speed test results you received.
not sure how to send you that -- as when I try to copy and paste in here the system tells me URL's can not contain parameters -- any suggestions?
A screen print would work Vicky.
If you use Windows operating system on your computer, simply load the page you want to copy, press the Print Screen button on your keyboard (top right row of keys), open Paint under Accessories, click Paste and the screen print will appear. You can then select Crop and mark the area of the screen print you want to share ... then click Crop again, then Save your image where you KNOW where it is ... and then you can click on the paperclip image within comments, to add your screen print.
Amazing --- today I check it and I am at 93/100 -- none of the errors from yesterday... I only changed titles. I dont know how that could do it. so I will wait to see in a couple more days if this continues. But Thank You!!

In WordPress admin. Click the Appearance tab. Then Customize and the Static Front Page. There you can make the changes.
Shoot, as far as I know you assign a page to receive your blog roll and that's it. Maybe you can copy that content put it on a page then create a link to it or a sub menu I think it might depend on your theme though
Maybe as another alternative you can just place an image link to your blog post on your home page.

I don't know much about WordPress yet. You may want to check out this link and see if they might have an answer for you:

Good luck!
Vicky, I see that thing as an advance course. Meaning, I want to change the colors if ever, the spacing of texts and many others but it will just take my time if I will because it is not an integral part of the theme, it's another endeavor.
I see it as a if you are going the Master's degree taking specialization.
You have to change all of that in "customize" which you find by going to appearance>customize>colors>header text color. If it doesn't change, there might be a glitch. I think support could help you with that. To change the image go to the customize>header image>add new image Hope this helps.

so I made some changes -- created a static home page with picture, customized my menus and put stuff under them -- but I now cannot seem to get my social tabs to show anywhere.
thank you mickeyb123 ~~ I thought I had done that but what I did was re-click on apply to existing posts again and that corrected the issue.! Yay!
I left a resolve for you on this question the first time you posted it earlier today. Is there an easier way?
That depends on the theme you are using. Some themes do the listing of your posts, some not but you have to click on the pages.
If you used your latest post as your static page it will automatically show up when you visit your site.
The social tabs should be activated in the widgets.
how do I see if the theme sets the listing or not.. I did not use my latest post as the static page. I changed the home page to the static page and added pictures for that page.
pages are coming up .. but I haven't done a new post since I made the change -- all the old ones I categorized with category labels
yes I believe the video I just watched that Triblu gave me has given me the answer -- thank you for your help
You will have to create a separate Blog page to send your blogs to, otherwise they wont be seen unless accessed by Direct link from Google for example. The static front page should be a nice welcome page. Posts should still have the social tabs once you add the new blog page to your menu.
I did create a special page for the blogs but the social tabs are still not showing up there like they did before. I am sending the posts that were already created using the categories labels I am just not sure how the new ones will work and I cant seem to find any directions in that respect. Can you direct me?

Hey Victoria,
Laura has answered your second question with the BEST advice. Here's the answer to your first question.
Video tutorial to see how to get your blog to show: https://youtu.be/YyVeigbUogk
Triblu! Thank YOU so much for the youtube video! I've been wondering how people made their home pages look so good! Will be working on this over the weekend!
Great day for learning something new all the way around!
If you want your page to be retained with varied content in it just remove the content you have put there, transfer it to the post and in the menu put your post under that page.
Just left a comment on a different thread, but here's the same answer: Yes! Here's a great tutorial on how to do it: How to convert a Page into a Post and vice versa with this Plugin
