I have 5 posts worth of material and 7 posts total on my website, I used Google`s webmaster tool to get my content indexed, because I was told that it would help me get indexed

When first starting, just tell Google about your site, then learn to tell Google in better ways:

No worries my friend, have a look at this training: Wish you all the best.

Everything you have written posts and pages you MUST use the Google fetch function for desktop and mobile

Paul

Yes I was sure to do that, I guess I`m just going to have to wait it out and see

When you press the fetch button then what happens what does it say?

Paul

It says the same thing for all my posts "redirected" followed by "Indexing requested"

Please show me a screen shot as I think I know the problem

paul

Will do, hopefully you do know

Here it is

Ok I need to see a screen shot of what you are actually typing into the fetch bar

Paul

I paste the content that I want indexed, in this case it is my review of Wealthy Affiliate

OK I see it says http and I would imagine that your are https which means you have to resubmit a new website to google that says https

Paul

ok I`ll give it a shot, any idea why it was http originally?

Well I looked on your profile and cannot find your website so what actually is it the complete URL

As may be you have not changed to https

Paul

I was able to get it to work, turns out the problem was that I entered https with "www" when it should have just been Https

Well I am so pleased that we got there in the end!!!!

paul

Thank you for your help!

You should do a blog about it to help others OK

paul

thats a great idea! will do!

Great to hear and you can mention me in the blog if you want - not a problem

paul

sure I will be sure to give you a shoutout!

Great that all is OK as that will help others

paul

1. First make sure you have verified your site in Google with the All in One SEO plugin: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2. Next, type your site URL into the browser address bar to check that your sitemap is turned on and working

(no spaces in the URL)
http: // yourdomain dot com / sitemap. xml

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

3. If you don't see the sitemap or you see an error message:

Go the the Features Manager in the All in One SEO plugin and make sure the Sitemap feature is ACTIVATED in the plugin.

Your sitemap will look similar to mine but with less content

https://judebanks.com/sitemap.xml

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

4. This is optional, after your sitemap is working. Then go to the Search Console and use the Fetch and Render function

See this training: You will find video tutorials via WA search on how to fetch and render.

If the above doesn't help, put in a SiteSupport ticket and ask them
to look into it. Let us know how it all works out. ~Jude

thanks this helped a lot Jude!

Hope you can resolve it. You can also submit a sitemap manually in Search Console to move things along to get the bot to crawl your site again.

The All in One Plugin updates and submits the sitemap automatically each time you add a new post or edit and old post, so you should not have to manually submit a sitemap too often., except after fixing errors. ~Jude

Hey, how long ago did you create the website? Sometimes it takes about a week to get Google indexed. For me, the fastest I've seen it was 3 days. Make sure that you are appropriately adding your SEO and keywords, so that it can help speed up the process!

Best of luck!

I created the website two weeks ago and still nothing :/
