Weeks away from Mid summers day
Weeks away from Mid summer’s day
It is incredible that we are less than a month away from mid-summer and I do not feel like the summer has started.
Maybe we should all put our shorts and t-shirts on, dust off the sandals and get summery, regardless.
Perhaps the weather would take a hint and get on with it.

I don't know were you are, except that you must be living on the northern hemisphere as you mentioned Mid Summer. Here in Switzerland we are having a great extended weekend (Thursday to Sunday) with warm and sunny weather. Just a few days ago we had cold (to cold for the season) and wet weather. Actually the weather is what we call April weather. Changing all the time.
Don't know about where you live Vi, but here in NYC the temperature and weather is fluctuating wildly day to day even this late in May.
Thanks Kaju. Aha you have English weather too.
Central UK is where we are but English weather is notorious for it's changability.
Makes life interesting.
Thanks Carson.
we had 2 days of real sunshine and then today is hot but Thundery and the clouds are fighting with the sun fill the sky.
Do you look forward to the rain then?
We do. Rain is sometimes long coming . But when it comes in summer it usually blows in, pours then moves out fast.
Good plan.
Be sure to bring an umbrella and a sweater in case the weather gods have not noticed your cooler attire!
We have actually had a few days of sunshine in Kelowna, BC.
We are being teased into thinking it might stay this way!
Thank you for your fun post.
Susan
Thanks Susan. Oh Yes! in the UK it is the one thing that is reliable: the unpredictability of English weather.
The brolly is packed with the sweater and the snow shoes.

Most in this area of the southwest are very aware of the water we use. Not really a lack of water though we have a good canal system and use alot of water from snow run off and the Colorado River.
Thanks Carson. Sounds good.
