The Power of Word - Thank You
The Power of Word - Thank You
We have such power in what we say or write.
If we say “Free!” or “Now” it sends a message to the reader or listener.
“Maybe,” or “Something,” give weak confused messages.
Ask anyone to add an ending to the sentence: “I am……..” and people will have very definite answers to what they are, and what they are not. Those simple words display a part of our identity.
When we are talking in general terms about people, we often use “you”, “we” or “one.”
“One” is rather impersonal but necessary at times.
I feel I enjoy using “We,” in WA because there is a sense of community.
“We” have a common purpose and support each other in that purpose. The detail, only, varies from person to person.
I feel privileged to have found this community and have a sense of belonging to it.
Sometimes I just want to say: “Thank you.”
