What are the most common questions YOU have about affiliate marketing?

Last Update: November 08, 2019

Hey guys, so I'm doing research on a new site I'm running and it deals with affiliate marketing.

One thing I am exploring is what the most common questions are from people who hear about, get involved in it and so on for the purposes of research.

If you could do me a favor and post your top 3-5 questions you have about affiliate marketing, I would truly appreciate it! Please label them in order so I can see which are which.

I'll also happily answer as many questions as I can in response to this since I have a lot of experience in it this business.

Thank you in advance!

VItaliy

My biggest question is whether I can make money with affiliate marketing. I would really like to do it full time, as long as I can make a decent living with it.

1) Quality traffic comes from proper keyword research Brad and then writing good content for them. The best example I use is finding keywords like how to relieve knee pain, then writing a high quality article on knee pain to bring in people WITH knee pain to the article, that is quality traffic. WA's training teaches this.

2) Accelerated SEO comes from posting quality content regularly. Once a day is fine.

3) There is no such thing, but if you can get quality traffic to your site, you already do most of the work for conversions to be high, so follow the guideline for getting quality traffic to your site.

1) There's good programs like Wealthy Affiliate, Clickbank, and Amazon Associates. I consider those 3 to be amazing.

2) I'd promote only a few. It shows quality over quantity. You can REVIEW masses of products, but show people the best options.

3) That is up to you. You can use 1 affiliate program like Amazon associates and promote different types of products from there across one or multiple niche sites.

Gonna throw this out there Vitaliy!

1. if you have one niche site, how many articles to do you think you would need to start getting sales or click thrus to your affiliate products?

2. what would be best physical products or digital products to promote and why?

3. If I were promoting digital products and I wanted to use funnels, but didn't want to pay for a platform like Clickfunnels, how could I do it with wordpress?

4. Do you think physical products can be promoted with a funnel (lead capture, then redirect to product page)?

5. If you implemented question 4 for a phyical product,, would this be more effective than creating niche blogs and writing content?

6. How would you promote your products (physical or digital) with just free traffic? Social Media, Blogging?

Hi Beau:

1) At least 50 for starters. Get that much up by 3-6 months time.

2) Depends man. There are a plethora of them around. Promote those with the best reviews.

3) Get quality traffic to your site, then promote the product from there and/or collect an email address using Aweber and promoting the affiliate product via email marketing.

4) Absolutely. I'd use bonuses for people if they sign up to your email list, as an incentive to get them to do it.

5) Doesn't matter if a product is digital or physical, as long as you target a niche and write good content, either will sell well.

6) I would focus on blogging and YouTube. I don't do much social media, but the first 2 options is how I sell products on my sites.

where do i get the money from if im selling someone else's product? how do they know that i sold one of there items?

Thanks for the questions Chris! Here are my answers:

1) You get the money from the vendor and/or organization that let you become their affiliate.

For example, if you're an affiliate for Amazon, you will get the money from them.

2) They (the vendor) knows you sold their product because they give you a unique link, known as an affiliate link that specifies it's you when the sale is made.
