Posting Facebook Video Content vs Image Content: The Surprising Results
Posting content on Facebook has been the main reason I'm about to reach 20k followers but for awhile now, I have been mixing things up between posting video content (reels format in post) for the most part and on occassion photos.
At all times, reels videos get at least 10x more exposure (if not 100 or 1,000 in some cases) but what I have also discovered is that in ALL cases, there is a stark difference between none followers vs followers who view that content:
- All of my photo content is mostly viewed by existing followers
- All of my video content is mostly viewed by none followers (but helping me the most in gaining new ones)
This has made me understand the value of diversifying the type of content I post. While I still mostly create video content, I will post photos from time to time and that is scaling further as time goes on. This provides more value to my existing followers who I also value a ton, so in your case, be sure to mix it up as well.

Hey, Vitaliy! You videos and guides motivated me a lot to start a Facebook page for my website.
The thing is that it’s really hard for me to make reels and videos and post them at least twice a day.
Is it possible (when starting out from scratch) to gain followers just by text and photos? Well, maybe some videos here and there, but mainly focus on quality text and photos + hashtags?
I plan to post at least twice a day.
If yes, do you have any more tips that can help me out with that?
Hi Nikolay yes you can do that. I'd encourage you to try and make video reels and use free sites like Canva to potentially find this type of content.
