Remember the 6th sense and the famous line "I see dead people"? Well that's pretty much me right now, except instead of seeing dead people (phew), I see niches, everywhere...
When I'm on a date and different topics come up, my first though isn't to keep the conversation going, it's "Omg, I just found another niche..what was she saying again??" and while the conversation is happening, I try to sneak in a text message to my email to remind myself to do some research when I come home.
When I'm in training, getting my face punched, I'm thinking of selling boxing gloves (and helmets...). Hands up come second...
When I'm hiking and in a slippery situation where I could fall and die, I'm not worried about it, I'm thinking "Hmm my shoes appear to be slipping, I wonder what kinds I could sell that won't fall and how much will an affiliate program pay me for this...".
A recent one to make this blog post actually productive was when I was cleaning my keyword...OMG I meant KEYBOARD (and yes I did mistype this into Amazon and Jaaxy when I first looked into it) and started thinking about a niche on cleaning keyw...BOARDS:

Does anyone have a pill for this condition? Speaking of which, the junkie inside me has just arisen again to find a new niche "Pills and other ways to cure the niche junkie condition"...
I don't think medical science has reached this point in curing this type of OCD...

Hilarious...You'll be alright, bud. Obviously, this isn't such a destructive vice, quite the opposite in fact.
I think this condition might be highly contagious. I seem to be experiencing similar symptoms. I determined it's a good thing WA limits us to 25 websites built on domains we own. Figure I'll have to contain this at some point.....or I could just delete the nonproducers.....keep your hands up while training.....hopefully reflexes will catch those punches if you lose focus......been there too.....lol
Oh yeah reflexes already work well, it's just that they often do a "YES sign" instead of blocking :P
Some people use a dishwasher to clean their keyboard and let it dry appropriately. It's all about the niche!

Yes I believe the disease you may have is what Auden had to say, that your mind is saying go into the Domain name business creating and selling great website names.
