Benjamin Disraeli
Benjamin Disraeli was a two-time prime minister to the United Kingdom in the 1800-1900s. Before he became prime minister, he was a prolific writer who released several non-fiction books and novels. This quote is from one of his novels released in 1832, "Contarini Fleming: A Psychological Romance."
In this novel, the protagonist struggles with writing his own novel while he is in Pisa, Italy. Through this character, Disraeli shows his audience that through tough, time-consuming effort, brilliance is acquired.
"There is a moment when a heavenly light rises over the dim world you have been so long creating and bathes it with life and beauty." Said Disraeli. He went on to say, "Accept your omen that your work is good, and revel in the sunshine of composition."
I truly love this quote, and this is what I understood Mr. Disraeli was saying.
I believe he was saying that we shouldn't stress or feel despair when trying to create "content" and struggling.
I believe he is trying to tell us that when we are going through a hard time writing, and freaking out because it's taking us a long time to create something perfect. He's telling us to relax, have patience, and struggle through it, to take our time, because, in the end, it's going to be much better than we initially intended.
Everything great and beautiful takes time to develop. Nothing rushed ever comes out great or beautiful.
For example, you have to water and nurture flowers and plants. It takes time to care for them, for them to become beautiful flowers and plants.
A drawing or painting takes time to paint and draw into a beautiful masterpiece. And, what he is saying is so true.
Nothing that I have done in a rush, not taking my time with it for whatever reason, has ever come out right.
So I ask you today, what masterpiece are you going to take your time to create?

Whatever you do, Don't Give Up! Don't let a slight stumble on the road to success make you lose hope and confidence. Instead, take your time with it, and in the end, you'll end up with a masterpiece.

Very wise words. Thanks for sharing :) I agree, things take time!. And I also think that whatever niche we are in, it's not just about creating content and put it out there. It has to be meaningful for our audience and to ourselves, and at the same time it's also a learning of a topic, mastering something, that we can be of service to others with.
