My take is, there is no theme that is the best but a theme that is good for your taste, niche, and what looks good in your eye. Remember you are in this for life.

You have to start training your eye and believing in yourself. Start by making what looks good in your opinion.

I used to give so many comments just that I can look at different tastes and styles. They are people who like the clean look not so many pictures. Unlike me, I love using images and color.

You look like a very outgoing person, sometimes your personality will be reflected in your work. I have seen websites that I thought they did not work. But after visiting them for a while they grew on me and I started liking them.

Basically, you will have to start testing your taste and as you use all the skills you are gathering for all the training suggested to you, like all of us we used to think we are not techno-savvy till we were in WA. Trust in the training, Kyle is very great and building confidence. In no time you will be sharing with others like me with you.

While you can pick any theme you like, ,my preference is the GeneratePress theme.

GeneratePress is extremely light, fast, well coded, SEO optimised, flexible, adaptable and customisable.

The majority here uses this theme, the premium version of which a plugin that has many templates you can choose from for very small investment.

It is also covered with lots of content with WA as in Jay's live webinars.

However please be aware that free themes may not always function as intended as they are free and buying a premium version, you are inputting a lot more than if you were to invest in multi-template plugin of the GeneratePress theme.

Your images will always come out different on your published page, than they look in editor, dimensions wise. Personally i publish all my text first, then i go over it once published and add images where i want them. If they don't look good, i simply delete and repeat until i get them how i want them. You simply go to posts after you've published, and click edit insert your images and save, on the right hand side of editor screen you will see also categories, type in a category other wise it will say uncategorised on your home page, it just gives Google & your viewers an idea what it's about. And you will see below that a box to add image to your home page next to each post.

You can pick any theme, play around with them see what you like, same with imaging.
You can always delete ,& start over if you not happy.
Its trail & error in the beginning, dont get to hung up, because you can always change it later.
