Hello everyone. Has anyone heard of WPMV DEV or The Hub and can you give me some feedback?

Thank you, you guys. I understand now, but I am not sure how I ended up with the plugin.😆 Yes, I agree it looked very confusing.

Yes, WPMU DEV :) Great company and resources.

You can host multisite websites with them. However, they can be on the expensive side.

We had an account with them previously.

Just tried WPMV DEV out as an experiment on a website of a client of mine hosted outside of WA.

It provides you with a good bundle of plugins that optimizes different parts of your site.

I found it easy to use in its current version, and it increased the performance of the site quite dramatically.

But I stopped using it after the trial period ended, due to the hosting company I use for that site provides similar features as WA hosting does.

As Carson says, If you have your site hosted on the WA platform, the plugin is not needed.

Hi Virginia,

WPMU Dev is a plugin company that has a number of plugins like SMUSH for images, and others. They manage their paid (pro) versions of their plugins through something called the WPMU Hub. If you want to upgrade to their pro plugins, then you would install the WPMU Dev plugin which will then allow you to manage the pro versions of their plugins on your site.

I've tested it before and it's quite a convoluted way to manage plugins and I found it quite confusing. I'm also unsure of the benefit of upgrading to any of their plugins.

With your website here at WA, you get Kraken.io optimized images, you also have our own proprietary hardware level caching platform called SiteSpeed. So, we have you covered already without the ned to purchase from WPMU Dev.

Hello friends. How do I get rid or hide the responses section on my front page?

Hi Virginia, if you mean on your website, there's various plugins that can hide content for you on certain pages, while still allowing it on others.

If you mean your main page here at WA, then I do not believe that there is any way to hide those comments.

Is your front page your blogroll? If so, are you referring to responses to your blog posts? These are things you can turn on or off. I can give you more information when you've clarified your question.

Can you give us more info, what response what frontpage? Of your website?

Or if you can provide us with a screenshot if possible.
