What will happen to domains we buy & websites we build on WA if we quit paying membership for WA? Can we transfer out to use on our own?

Apparently you must be unhappy with wealthy affiliate about something . Did you bring it to anyone's attention? Wealthy affiliate is a learning platform who is rated as the best. Along with the community ,I have never seen or been able to interact to any that would compare to ours at wealthy affiliate. I know you want to quit .Have you found one that is better? Hope you are making the right decision Doug

She does not sound unhappy at all, sounds more like wanting to know what options are available to her (us). Any smart business person would.

Yes, make sure to back up your site first. Once you find another hosting provider, you can import you back up. Do it before your 30 days are up. There will be preferences from your template that may not transfer from the back up. Test it out first and re-apply all your preference setting to your new location.

You can also transfer your domain name as well to another domain provider. The new domain provider will give you instructions on how to transfer your domain name.

SiteSupport is very helpful as well. Talk to them or submit the questions on WA blog if you need further help.

Best wishes on your new endeavor where ever you go!!!

Yes you have 30 days after you have canceled your membership to transfer your site to new hosting, if you bought your domain name here you will still have access to it and you would continue to pay WA yearly for your domain name.

If you want to completly move away from WA you can have your domain name transfered to a new registar

WA will keep your site for 30 days after you quit, I believe. But why quit?

Some people don't understand the resources they have here, they don't understand the membership pays for the hosting and many other features. They see 1cent hosting advertised on youtube and they think they are saving, but they've no idea of the small print or the difference.

There can be many reasons, eg sometimes people can't afford it, a lot of people have no income, and then some people do not want to work or do the training. Some people I know in here became millionaires inside 5 years, and some are struggling for traffic and give up - so it's a personal thing why people may want to leave.

Of the people I know who have left, they did all admit the training worked for them, and some will come back again.

The 30 days thing is really about finding other hosting as all websites need a host, so it's a reminder to people to sort out their hosting.

Why do you want to quit? And if you decide to quit, you need to find a way how to transfer your site. I'd suggest to approach site support... They can advise you who can give you a valid answer

You could but why would you? We have, in my opinion, the best platform there is for what we do.
Jerry

I'm sure you can transfer them. And your domain name must be good for the rest of the years.

I'm sure there must be a way you can renew it every year with WA even if you're not a member anymore. It must work like any domain registar.

You can have a domain on Namecheap for instance, and host your website somewhere else. I don't see why you would not be able able to do this with WA.

Maybe you can ask Support with that question.

Yes you can.

Joe

I think you can transfer to use your own, but you don't have access to the community resources here at WA.

Hi Violet,

Yes you can transfer your websites to your own hosting from WA's hosting.

I found a few posts about the process using the search bar.

I have a question. Can I place multiple affiliate links in a post and point other articles to it? Because I'm selling Stationeries which the commission is very low and it's not

Yes, that's fine. I've done it too! Just make sure to have a good amount of content explaining your items so it's searched/ranked well.

Thank you

You're quite welcome, Violet!

Yes you can do this, I have done something similar and just pointed other pages to it. As long as not every page on your site is like that, and you have a lot of content in general on your site to balance it out it's fine.

Thanks

There's nothing wrong with it in my opinion. As long as you aren't masking it with something else.

Thanks

The short answer is Yes you can, Violet
Hennie

Thank you

There's no rule against it, but that many on one page, all from Amazon, will not look good. I'd probably put no more than 6.

Thanks for your advice

I'm persuading my friend to join Premium. I showed him the projected earnings written by Kyle. He ask me if it's "guareenteed" that we will earn $3-20K in 1 to 2 yrs on Wealthy

I don't think you can say for sure as it seems to all depend on the person, what amount of work they put into it and also how much traffic comes their way by tweaking and re adressing issues. Anything is possible and WA gives the best platform for this.

Thanks for your comment

I began with WA in January of 2017. Here are my results that you can show him if he's wondering if this works or not :)

Great example.... Thanks!

happy to help :)

Thanks for Ur input

No problem!

Is it possible? I think it is. In one or two years? It depends on our level of learning and the effort we put at applying what we are learning. Is it guaranteed? I don't think anyone can guarantee you anything... but it comes down to the second question and answer: to the level of learning we have and how we are applying it.

Tony Robbins once said something like, "it's not what we do just once in a while that get us results, but what we constantly do on a consistent basis".

Know what you want, Take massive action to get it. Find out what's working and what's not, And continue doing what is working until you start seeing results.

That's all I can say to this.

It starts by a desire. But that desire has to become a committed decision to do what it takes to get there.

Thanks for your advice

If you notice what Kyle said (it is like you said yourself), "projecting earnings" or "earning potential", but it's only after we have a certain amount of posts written on our site.

But I think after reading your question, that you are already aware of that.

Hi Violet
My suggestions are similar to everyone else's here. If he is asking about there being a guarantee of earnings then he is more likely looking for a get rich quick idea and probably wouldn't be interested in putting the time and effort in here required to be successful or will give up early without understanding the true benefits of WA. While we are all here because we believe those earnings are possible, you can't possibly put a time frame or guarantee on that success. It all comes down to learning, working, using the strategies, following the courses and building, building, building. I've been here a while, and I'm still doing the courses. I have earned some commissions here and there, but the time I can commit to doing this is severely limited because I am a Carer full time. But I am still here and don't plan to give up even though it could take a few more years to get to a point of success. That is the kind of persistence this could take. It's probably better not to try to convince him to do anything yet. Keep telling him how you're doing, but leave the rest up to him. If he sees you making progress, his interest might be piqued enough to look at the opportunity with different eyes. Some people will instantly see the value in WA, others may take time. Don't push it and waste a lot of energy on trying to get him to see things from your perspective, just let your success outshine his worries. I hope this helps.

Hi Violet, nothing can ever be guaranteed. We live in a volatile world but what we can guarantee ourselves is that we are going to give it our very best shot and do everything that we can to be successful and then be able to say that we grew through the process.

If you want to read some material on the subject here is a link - You can also do a search for more on earning potential and find some good tutorials and blogs.

Brian

Thanks for Ur link

Is that $3-$20K a year? That is certainly possible and some people are making those kinds of profits here.

However, it is NOT "guaranteed." because it depends on what work your friend would put in to make it happen, how good that work would be and so on.

There are too many variables to "guarantee" success in this or any other online or offline business.

Actually, I think trying to "persuade" someone, while understandable, is not the best approach. It makes you weak and needy and leads to questions that are really objections such as "is it guaranteed".

A much better use of your time would be to focus on getting really good at business blogging (i.e. by relentlessly studying and applying the training on offer here) to the point where people start to approach YOU.

Hope that helps you get some perspective.

All the best,

David Hurley

Can you or he? Yes.

Is it guaranteed? No.

Personally, I view WA as an educational platform where there's a ton of knowledge and information available in one place.

In all honesty, if somebody is driven enough, organized enough, smart enough, etc. they don't need WA. You can spend your days on Google researching SEO, PPC, Social Marketing, etc. for free.

WA can help speed up the process and there are numerous individuals in the community that are almost always there to help.

If you consistently apply what's taught, you're far more likely to be successful. There will still be many frustrations in the journey and you will always be adapting.

You're paying for the education and support. What you do with it and how far you make it take you is ultimately your choice.

Thanks for the advice

Please simply let him know it is a system for the dedicated and passionate individuals with the zeal and persistent any business requires... The question should be how serious is he to change is current state of financial affairs?

Thanks
