Hello everyone,

I wanted to create and include some graphics on my website. I can use graphic tool to do basic processing but I have no means of creating basic elements a

I have a great resources here:

Thank you so much Nathaniell! This is really helpful.

Recently, I am trying using Flourish; it is a free tool or making data visualization. While, if you want to export it, it costs your money. But we always have a solution to do it:

1. If it is GIF, i will use screen record and edit as a small movie.
2. if it is PPT, just screenshot.

It is pretty cool.

You have to be careful with that as you are breaking copyright rules, which is a criminal offence. It’s the same as taking a screenshot of Google images or Amazon etc.

Hi,Chrystopher, thanks for the reminder. To be clarified, all the data are collected by myself in the open source, and I spent a lot of time on data cleaning, and then upload to this tool to form the visualiation. Bascally, it is my masterpiece, i think i have the copyright. So this is not allowed?

You mentioned that "Flourish" is a free tool for making data visualisations, but that you have to pay if you want to export it. You can not, therefore, use a 3rd party tool to export the visualisations, as you are breaking the Terms & Conditions of "Flourish", which is a criminal offence.

Thanks for this resource Daisy! I checked this website and in free version we can create presentations but they will be public.

Correct me if I am wrong. I believe you just screen record or screenshot your project before saving. That way you keep your work without saving it on the website. I think that's a nice solution. Only drawback that you wont be able to acquire a scalable high quality image but for web purpose it would do just fine.

now I feel confused, if i save my project in Flourish, that would be public source, every one can use my data to do anything, and i cannot use 3rd party free tool to export my original file from Flourish.

Very confused. I will check their web term.

Definitely not, as they charge you to export, you are not allowed to bypass their systems for your own benefit. Otherwise, why would they charge, the system would be free for all purposes.

As per the other comments, I would use Canva, the link is in Diane's message

Thanks, Chrystopher.

Hi - you can use Canva.com, the free version is fine, you don't need to upgrade.

Thanks Diane.

Hey Vinvas, try out Canvas. It's an app you can download on your phone and create anything from logos, ads, posters, even t shirt designs.

All from the app. They also have many illustrations and other tools for you to wip up you're own masterpiece!

It's all royalty free, you can put your own name and logo on a photo and call it yours. Some of the photos have the Canvas copyright logo on it though.

I hope this helps, but if Royalty free photos is what you seek. Try unsplash.com. That's my go to.

All the best,
Brandon

Thanks for your reply, Brandon! Just one confusion, is this app with name Canvas Design and Art by Infinite Infoways?

No problem, the app is called Canva: Graphic Design, Video Collage and Logo Maker

I apologize for the small typo there. No 's'. Singular, not plural haha

Thank you so much. :)

Hey Vinayak,

You would need to Google search for instructions regarding whatever APP you are using on whatever brand of cell phone you are using.

With so many different devices and email programs, each with their own instructions, Google searching is your best bet in discovering the instructions.

What WA has recommended that we do with our WA hosted domain email accounts is to forward them to a gmail account where we can setup our domain email accounts from within gmail.

Here's a video to help you do that should you decide to go with using gmail: Hope you find this helpful.

Thank you very much for your help, Trisha!

I wanted an effective way to manage my email accounts and this works perfectly for me.

Best Regards and Thanks again!
Vinayak
