I am going to start creating videos on Youtube and after watching Jay’s training I have a couple of questions.

1- Does a video replace writing an article? I understand that for articles we want to aim for a certain amount of words (1,500), should we be aiming for a certain amount of time in our videos?

2- - If I embed a video in a post that I already created and published, does that count as fresh content? Or should I embed the video as a new post in order to count as fresh content?

1. It doesn't replace, but it is an awesome way to get traffic from social media. It is much easier to learn from you. People love videos nowadays.

2. I would create a new article and build an internal link to the older one, as no it is not fresh content. Besides, Google loves internal links, so it is good for your ranking.

If you like to make videos, there are several tools out there, even Youtube has a video creator on board.

Hope that helps,
